I absolutely LOVE Samplers, so with that - here's to the....Sampler !! Hooray!!!!! I love what you share with us!!!! hank you, dearly!!!!!! You are VERY appreciated!!!!!!!
Thank you. I have started Lucy Navier and agree she is a little intimidating. I am just going to do one stitch at a time and work thru each section as best as I can.
Wow I am so impressed by your stitching! Can you tell me what the Sampler is that is right above your head in the gold frame? Next to the Ann Tong auffinden sampler… ? Thank you!
Thank you for watching Caroline. The sampler that was above my head on the gold frame is ‘his eye is on the sparrow’ by Heartstring Samplery. It is such a wonderful stitch, you will really enjoy it . Happy stitching
Hi Narissa! I am a sampler stitcher too and enjoyed your video tonight. Consider the Lilies looks so tiny next to Ann Uffindell on your wall which tells me you love all the big girls as I do. Looking forward to your next FlossTube. All my friends talk about you so I had to come watch.
I love seeing all of your beautiful stitching. The samplers are so amazing and I enjoy seeing them behind you. I love Elizabeth Weston's sampler and seeing your finish. Congratulations!
We love watching your RU-vid channel. You bring such positivity to the world of cross stitch. The Hannah Coates cross stitch sampler is beautiful! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Thanks for your videos Nerissa. Your sampler wall is so inspiring. The amount of stitching you get done between videos is amazing. Very inspirational all round.
Love visiting with you and seeing your beautiful stitching. I too love a sampler to stitch,so have always have squirrels dropping in. Blessings and happy stitching.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work again Nerissa. Always a pleasure to watch. Love your sampler wall behind you and Hannah Coates is a gorgeous sampler too!
Your work is amazing! And am so impressed with how many you have in play and que’d up! I would have a hard time determining which sampler to work on with so many beautiful choices! Look forward to your next flosstube!
Thank you so much. I have a hard time choosing what to stitch on next some times. I just pick up one of my project bags and start stitching. I think it helps that I love them all and can not wait to work on each one.
This is my first time watching your channel and I love it. Your work is so pretty and I love samplers. I would have a hard time choosing which sampler I like the best. ☺️
Thank you. The sampler with the red house is ‘the red house sampler’ by Brenda Keyes from the sampler company. The sampler with the large green hill is ‘Amy Cann’ from Hands Across The Sea Samplers. Happy stitching
Thanks for the new FlossTube. Your work on the GH 1857 sampler made me pull mine out and put a few stitches in it. Looking forward to watching your progress and your encouragement. Happy stitching!
Congratulations on your 3000 subscribers Nerissa. I love seeing everything you stitch, we have very similar tastes. It’s good to see you stitching my all time favorite sampler-Florence Mary Dickinson.
This is my first time watching your flosstube but won’t be the last! Amazing projects but I especially love the sampler behind you with the large red house! Can’t wait for your next video!
Thank you for being willing to share Hannah Coates sampler with us your viewers……..you always inspire me! I wonder when you stitch since you mention “work” and you are so productive!
I love seeing you and all your beautiful stitching. You are so inspiring. I love stitching on a sampler, they are my favorite to stitch. Keep em coming. Your Florida admirer, Liz
The Hannah Coats sampler is so pretty. I enjoy seeing everything that you work on, your stitching is absolutely beautiful! I stitched Ann Dale and it is one of my favorite projects that I stitched.
Always a pleasure to watch. Your projects are wonderful and I love seeing their progress. The sampler you have shown - Hannah Coates is absolutely gorgeous and looks similar to the Furniss one I think.
Hi Nerissa, after seeing your work on large samplers, I went and ordered Charlotte Warrington. It will be my first BAP sampler and I’m so looking forward to it. Lovely stitching as all ways. 😊
Thank you so much for watching. I have also ordered Charlotte Warrington, she is currently making her way to me . So looking forward to starting her. Happy stitching, Nerissa
I always look forward to watching your flosstube so many beautiful finishes and wips. I enjoy stitching samples more than small these days I think for me it's the meaning behind. Thank you for sharing.😊
Thank you so much. I enjoy the samplers more then smalls also. I love thinking about the young girl that stitched the original sampler and what their lives must of been like.
Congratulations on reaching 3000 subscribers! Your work is beautiful, and I’d love to stitch the Hannah Coates SAMPLER. I received the full kit for “A Stitch in Time Saves Nine” last week - isn’t it delightful! I haven’t started it yet, but certain it will leapfrog over my list of planned starts, and be the next one to go. I haven’t stitched on the Tabby Cat linen before, it looks lovely. I envy your ability to stitch on 55 count. Wow!!!!
Thank you. I am enjoying stitching on the ‘a stitch in time saves nine’ sampler. You will enjoy stitching on tabby cat linen, it’s lovely to stitch on. Happy stitching
Love all your stitching projects! I'm working on a Dutch beauty sampler as well on the same fabric as you do. I want to start that blue Dutch sampler (with the vase you stitched, I forgot the name of it already :)). And, like you, I keep meaning to start stitching The Little House Needleworks smallish designs but keep going back to my big samplers. I stitched the Home of a Needleworker, the one with the red house on it and I've started the other one but don't like my fabric choice, so I'm planning to restart it. The Needleworker has been on my to-stitch list for years! :) I'm also going to start Ann Jonson 1832 by HATS on 14th of February, although I'm not sure if I will join the FB group for that. Thanks for your flosstube videos! They bring so much joy and I always look forward to watching them! x
Dutch Beauty is such a wonderful sampler. I am enjoying stitching on her. The sampler with the blue vase is called ‘GH1857’ by Simone de Jong- van Wissen. I still need to get started on the needleworker patterns. Have wanted them done and on my walls for a very long time. Happy stitching, Nerissa
Congratulations on the 3k 🎉🎉🎉 You always show such variety and it’s wonderful to connect all across the world with other stitchers through you. I’d love to stitch the Hannah Coates sampler with you. She’s not in my HATS queue yet. ❤
Another wonderful video. I have Lucy but have never got going on her. Thanks for your enthusiasm for our hobby, it keeps me going. Hope I will meet you maybe at the HV retreat. ❤
Thank you so much. I have managed a small start on Lucy , but I am looking forward to working on her over the next few years. Yes I am registered for the HV retreat. Happy stitching, Nerissa
It is a joy to see all your progress on all the samplers! Thanks for sharing them all. Could you please share the name of the SAMPLER that shows right on the back of you , red house and the weeping willow? It’s lovely.
PS - I avoid French knots. I like the Colonial knot. It's more rounded and turns out better for me. I'm interested in what you think. Please consider me for the sampler.
Thank you. It has been awhile since I had to so many French knots. I will not be doing them until most of the day of the sampler is complete. So I have a while to decide between French knots or colonial knots. Happy stitching
Thank you for being such an inspiration, your needlework is just beautiful, i always enjoy watching your progress on each piece. I think you have helped me to find the courage to stitch a sampler. ❤️❤️
Hi Nerissa, as always your sampler stitching is sublime, and your choice of smalls is so great. Glad things have become less hectic so we can enjoy your stitching progress. I really admire how you can stitch and work full time. Congrats on 3k subscribers. Thank you
I just love seeing your sampler stitching! I myself have been stitching samplers for many years. Stopped counting at 75! There are 35 or so on my walls and more hanging in my closet unframed. Others in current WIPS and kitted up. So I guess you could say I understand the addiction ❤
Thank you so much for watching. Wow that’s a lot of stitch samplers . It’s so hard to stop starting new samplers . Especially where they keep being more out all the time. Happy stitching , Nerissa
Love all your beautiful samplers. I have a sampler wall as well but never have enough. It is a joy to stitch everyday if I can. I would like to visit New Zealand one day. Thanks for sharing all your wips and I enjoy your channel!
Another wonderful hour spent with you, Nerissa! Each sampler on the wall behind you is just gorgeous. I wish I could be as productive as you are… I’m retired, so I have no excuse! You have now convinced me to order and start Ann Dale. If not now, when? It would be perfect for a Leap Year start. And I just happen to have a fat half of Dolly Madison by Needle & Flax.
Thank you so much. Ann Dale will look wonderful on Dolly Madison by needle and flax. I am really enjoying stitching on Ann Dale. Happy stitching , Nerissa
You are such a prolific sampler stitcher…I LOVE seeing your work and so glad Saltbox Stitcher recommended you! I’m not the biggest sampler stitcher, but there are some that have that something about them that draw me in….Hannah Coates happens to be one of them. I’m currently working on Mary Florence Dickerson and I’m loving the colors! Thanks for the great content.
You are an incredible stitcher. i can't believe how much you get done. Samplers are my favorite to stitch, but i squeeze seasonal smalls in between for fun.
Great progress on your chosen large samplers for 2024. Like you I have lots of smalls and you have inspired me to sort through them and choose some to do this year. Just finishing Florence Mary Dickinson - just working on the bow and then the name along the bottom whee!! Bit smokey up here where I live so really enjoyed your bright breezy flosstube today. Nice to know someone else buys 2 of the same pattern. Love that sampler.
Thank you. I have to start pulling my chosen smalls into my rotation . I am so pleased to hear that someone else is making progress on Florence Mary Dickinson, it is such a beautiful sampler. Happy stitching , Nerissa
