I store my floss on thread drops in numerical order on large rings and then pull what I need when kitting up a project.

I store my entire DMC 447 colors in small photo boxes which came in a larger box with handle. I keep them in their original skein shape and this works for me.😊 A skein library. When I kit up specific projects I set up each color on a floss drop, picking colors from the skein library. This may not work for everyone but I enjoy keeping my floss & projects this way. Thank you for sharing your cross stitch journey.☺

Oooh, you’ve been having a lovely time 😁 Try working projects on dark fabric with a light pad underneath - I always found that helpful as the light highlights the holes. And looking at your progress on “grasshopper”…… is he sitting on/in a dandelion 🤔 Looking forward to seeing all your progress in the next update, especially on that gorgeous flamingo 🦩

Hi Anthea, the light box is a great idea. I was stitching in bright sunshine today which did make it easier so that could work. Thanks 😊 I wondered if that was a dandelion after recording but still don't think it is - willing to be proven wrong though 😂 Thanks for watching and your support as always

The Q Snaps will loosen up over time but I use a piece of felt that is slightly larger than the snap which makes the fabric tighter in the Q Snap but allows you to pull the snaps off easier. I’ve switched to the Nurge hoops on Amazon as they are easier to use and keep my fabric nice and taut.
