Thanks for another great video. I always look out for your videos, they are a must watch. Love the new starts. I love seeing a whale off the coast. Happy stitching.
Hello from Tennessee! Thank you for spending my morning stitching time with me. 😊. It's always such a joy to watch your video. All your stitching is gorgeous and inspiring. I always have a " Whale " of a time watching your wip parades. 😊😊
Laura, I had a whale of a time seeing all of your lovely projects while stitching on Fruits of Plenty this morning. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
🤣🤣🤣Sally and I love that you’re stitching all the starts right along with us! We need to take fun where we find it, so keep doing all the things that bring you smiles. I LOVE your seagull. Your fabric choice really suits the style of the stitch and brings it to life. I love the idea of that challenge by the Hathaway Stitchers. I need to catch up with them. Take care this week Laura.
Thanks for sharing your cross stitch projects. Quote: “I can’t look at those right now because I might start things” 😆 YEP, very tempting for sure. We had rain and hail today in my neck of the woods! 🌧️ Great start to the April Showers Bring May Flowers. I love that one. Happy Stitching to you and I hope you have a whale of a time. 😉
So much stitchy goodness and progress. So pretty. One of my favorite get away adventures is a Whale watching trip in the San Juan's. Have a great week Laura.
I'm so behind, it's been a while since I've had my Sunday morning coffee with you! You've made great progress on your wips. Can't wait to see the finished seagull, I love that fabric!
Greetings to my favorite enabler! I would have never thought to attempt a full coverage but you make it sound not so complicated. I found petite gold dimension patterns at a thrift store...lighthouses...and thought I would give it a try. I bought 18ct easy grid...like you received from a viewer and I swear by it! Has made me feel more organized and confident as I stitch the lighthouses. I'm finding that every stitch feels closer to solving the puzzle!
Hi Laura, I have Blue Rhapsody kitted up and ready to go and seeing yours makes me want to start it right away! I really enjoyed all of your wips, love the seagull on the blue fabric, it really pops!
Love catching up with all your projects. Thanks for your videos. You've inspired me to get out my summer quaker and get to work on it. I would certainly stitch a whale.😊
Hi Laura! It’s always nice to see your smiling face and hear you say Good Morning! I enjoyed seeing your progress on the various projects you worked on this week. I’m always impressed with how much you accomplish. I like your idea of substituting a sea turtle for the mermaid in Summer Quaker. Thanks for the suggestions on a few potential charts to pull one from. I like the little whale tail chart. That would be fun to stitch! Have a great week.
Thank you for another fab Flosstube, sorry you had to film twice and hope you feel better soon re: allergies. I always enjoy watching you and thanks for the heads up re: Bird Nerd free pattern! 💗
Hi Laura, thank you for another great video :) I'm looking forward to see progress on your rainbow piece. You are really brave to combine two pieces together without actually creating a pattern to follow :D I can't even imagine that. The Paris Morning is coming along soooo nice! And the seagull...you know I love him. And the waves are giving some depth to the piece. I look forward to see it finished but I'll be sad not to see it anymore 😅 and you got me on the dragon! I'm going to buy it for my birthday and I will start it! I will even buy the DMC for it, because my usual brand of floss doesn't have such variety of colors. Happy stitching :)
Ooh you and I both are suffering with the turn to Spring. I can'qt wait to have some warm weather soon. I to have a pond in my yard that a whale my be able to swim through since it has rained and snowed everyday this past week. Hope you feel better soon.
Allergy season is here, hope you get some relief soon. I thought I remembered a small sea turtle from last year's earth day fundraiser charts but I couldn't find one. I did find an adorable whale though. Have a great week.
Thanks for another wonderful floss tube. Sorry your allergies are bothering you, mine are just starting ugh. Amazing how many projects you have going on. Whale.
Enjoyed seeing you again. Rain, Rain, rain, yes you sound like my two sister in laws who live in Harrington and Greenwood. Hope it gets warm for you soon.
Whale. Hi Laura! I love the sun also but the wind is terrible! I would really like to have the wind go away, for me and the people working on the Key Bridge. I am always tempted to cast on when I see your Floss tube. 😄
Lovely stitching!! I had to frog the same spot in He Is Risen! Using sparkly thread for the rain on Current Mood. Will try to remember to post pic on Instagram!
So happy it worked out with the video and I got to enjoy it 😍 You’ve done great progress this week as always 🥳🥳 Hope your allergies won’t get as bad and the weather will be better for you to do some beach stitching 😍 (maybe see a whale 😬) Have a great week! ❤️
Wow stitch alongs. I have no luck with them. You do so well. I hope your mom is doing ok. Both of my parents have ahltimizers. My mom has some awareness but my dad is in a different world. He has had it so long. I hope you feel better.
Itchy eyes come with allergies. Saline eye drops any time they itch will help. Saline nasal spray may help as well. I have year-long allergies, but pine pollen in the spring is the worst-added to use of AC (changing air filter for HVAC system if not cleaning out the HVAC system itself of all the winter dust will help). I also stitch seaside animals like the whale or seahorse.
So on your last video you mentioned the 50% sale on stitches sew beautiful...well I brought 2 patterns and one of them was Limoncello...loved seeing your progress onbthis one. Whale
Thank you for mentioning the color changes for Seaside Tiny Town. I agree, brighter colors would be wonderful! I'll have to check them out. One of our favorite memories was going whale watching while at Cape Cod. I had to start taking my allergy meds again... sigh...
Love, love, love that you are doing better at #funfor50sal than Sarah and I are!! 23 new starts so far!! I'm only on 19 and thought i was doing well 😂😂 I love your seagull - its always a chart i have thought i might like to do. As i watched you and admired the fabric you are using i remembered one i have that might look almost as good so i might have to have another start 😉 Happy Stitching! Xx
I love using pattern keeper. I don't think I would ever attempt a large full coverage without it! Those whale patterns are perfect for summer stitching. Have a great week!
Hi Laura! Really enjoyed your flosstube. If you are curious to see the pattern “never underestimate the difference you make” stitched up… I did that one and I actually show it in my very first video. You can see it on the thumbnail 😊
I wonder if you throw the girl in the rain artwork into pic2pat if it could tell you those colors you need to make the top part full coverage. I think it’s going to look great the way you’re planning, though. I ordered from Those Missing Stitches! Enabler! I am stitching on one of those mini masterpieces like Amy Renewing Stitches is working on- she’s an enabler too😂 Ooh love the whale 😊
Talk about timing. After seeing Pam’s whale and the other 6 fragments in time patterns, I had added them to my wishlist. Please let us know what you think of the pregridded fabric. May have to give it a try too.
I'm not sure if I should keep watching you, Laura. Every time I come away adding something(s) to my carts somewhere! LOL! Today I paused you, went to Those Missing Stitches and put two lovely pieces of linen in my cart and clicked pay. I blame you! :) (Not really!) (Well, maybe sort of)😉 whale
I am working on Blue Rhapsody, too. I just love it. ❤ I'm using the call for WDW floss. I would love to see a whale, But that isn't happening in the desert.
Laura my sister and I are wondering do you kit up the floss for your full coverage pieces or just pull the color from yours drawers of floss when you need another color? I have my one full coverage with about 90 colors kitted in floss away bags on ring on my project bag? How do you kit up your projects?
For the most part, I use individiual skeins of dmc for each of my full coverages. Lately, when I start one, I pull a bunch of the colors that I'll need immediately. As I need more, I grab them from my master drawers and put them with the project. Now that I have Pattern Keeper, if I zero out a color, I will put it back into it's drawer. To keep track of my dmc skeins, once I get to one skein left, I keep a running list and make a trip to Michael's to refill so I always have at least one skein of each color in each drawer.
