Oh, Kathy, that embroidery stitch book is so, so tempting!!! I’m already up to my neck with cross stitch, wool applique, and quilting projects, but I just may have to take on another project. Great video as always! Omg…the shadow box for Keeper of the Pins is amazing! Nancy, I don’t know how you can change colors so well and they come out beautiful!

I always find your videos very inspiring. Your finishing work is always outstanding and I love the creativity. So nice to see Nancy again!!!! I love that you are never afraid to make all the changes! What fabric count do you usually stitch on? That can be a real dilemma for me.... i can really get bogged down on making decisions, both on fabric and finishing. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful stitching! Have a great time at your retreat!
So good to see you Nancy! Loved seeing all the stitching you both have been doing! Have fun at your retreat! Safe travels to and from the retreat. I remember Six Sweet Strand floss. I had a lot of them.
Yay… Great to see Nancy again! Y’all both have some awesome finishes. LOVE LOVE LOVE that little embroidery stitch library Nancy did…That’s right up my alley so I’ll have to check it out and those tiny Christmas ornaments were too cute. And that was just too funny how Nancy stitched those Lori Holt cards twice… sounds like something I’d do 🤭😂You both are happy enablers. Hope y’all have a great retreat trip. Can’t wait to see an update 😊

I enjoyed watching your video and seeing all the things❤❤❤ Such beautiful stitching. Love the dormant tree😂😂 Oh my, look at your lovely colors for the Hawk Run. Very nice.
Kathy, love the way you finished Keeper of the Pins. I stitched them all on one cloth, undecided if I'll split them into different finishes or leave as one. It was a fun stitch and a quick stitch. Your shadow box is a darling finish.
So wonderful to visit with you both again. Enjoy your time together at retreat. Thanks for the inspiration from seeing your wonderful stitching finishes and WIP’s. Blessings and happy stitching.

Good to see you both, great finishes, cute stitching mat at onto the drying mat and tote bag matches, awesome quilt, embroidery stitch book, shadowbox w/shelves, nice reverse coloring on the Inn & floss colors, nice to make the Xmas HRH your own.pretty WIPs. Enjoy The Retreat!!! 😍
So nice the see you Nancy. I stitched as I watched the video and I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful stitching you two have been working on. Question for Nancy, I know you stitch mostly on 18 count Aida, what do you do with the small one over one on the Plum Street Sampler designs? I also prefer 18 count Aida and steer away from the beautiful Plum Street patterns because of the one over one. Hope you have a fun time at your retreat.
Thank you, usually if there is one over one I will usually just do a regular ❌. For instance, on a bird beak I will just do one or two regular stitches. For things like legs of birds I will just do a straight stitch. If there are words that are one over one I will usually rechart them in backstitch or change the verse. Don't let one over one stitching keep you from doing a charts. ~Nancy
Cathy , the pattern for Under the Garden Moon what the name ? After l saw yours I Want One ! I don’t know how long it will take to make , but yours is absolutely amazing ! Thank You for sharing your wonderful needlework with all of us .
Hi Terri! When you go to the Under the Garden Moon website it is listed as Stitch Sampler Book and it’s a monthly subscription for a year. It’s really fun to do!
Such beautiful work, I tried looking up sew n sew on Instagram and did not come up, what names would we look for to follow, thanks ladies for taking the time to share.
Nancy I have a question about your Christmas stockings. I know you said you stitched them on 14count Aida. Did you stitch over 1 or over 2 threads. I have watched episode three numerous times but can’t catch what you are saying. I believe you also used DMC threads and made yours a little larger? Thanks
