Hi Cathy, want you to know that I will be praying for you. That both surgery' s go well and speedy and uncompleted recovery. I like the stitching you did on the 10 count with the heavier thread. Oh my goodness, bless your heart! My daughter-in-law had foot surgery last year and had a long recovery similar to what you describe. She rented a scooter from a medical supply company and said it was a life saver. Your husband is a brave, brave, man to have both knees replaced at the same time. Prayers for both of you!
You will be sorely missed. I always try to look on the bright side and at least your ailments are totally fixable, although definitely inconvenient. I wish you and your husband very quick healing and I look forward to you coming back.

Kathy...thanks for your sweet posting...happy to hear Nancy will be posting...sorry to hear about your eye and heel problems...will add my prayers for you recovery...and that of your husband's knees...I have not been stitching because of a clot behind my eye...I will get some 10 count Aida and see if my new glasses will allow me to stitch...I have knitted some and crocheted too...best wishes to you both❤

Jiminy Christmas Cathy!! Nothing like saving it up for all at once!! As for getting up and down the stairs, doing the stair at a time on your bottom works (I have broken my feet at different times and lived in a split level house … but definitely check with the Doc. That’s serious surgery! I hope you’re planning on moving your stitchy spot downstairs and loading up on projects!! Hang in there girlfriend. We’re going to miss you, but please do get better soon!

I have had that heal surgery (Haglund's Deformity) on both of my feet. It is a long recovery, but so nice to be without pain. Best wishes for a quick healing. I hope the eye surgery goes well and lets you get back to stitching. Big hug.

May I HIGHLY suggest a knee scooter. I’ve had 5 foot surgeries on my feet (3on R-2onL) and the knee scooter not only was a godsend but it helped my healing. Great to see you back and I watched her FlossTube lastnight. And I will say a prayer for your healing and recovery.
