So glad your surgery went well. Sorry it created another problem 😩. Hopefully you will be fully recuperated soon. Your wips look amazing as always. I just love that hippo ❤️. Love the haul. I hope you have a great couple of weeks, stay safe and happy stitching ❤️

As always Debbie you astound me with the quantity of stitches you accomplish every month. I am pleased your ankle problem worked out okay. Sorry to hear about your back🤕, when my back first went about twenty five years ago, I thought I was going to have some time in bed....but oh no, according to my doctor that was the old fashioned way and movement was needed lol😝. It did eventually ease but has since come back now so that I'm in constant pain and unable to work! Hope you get to your goals, your a very determined young lady so I feel sure you will achieve a goal or two👍. Every time I see the Hippo Reflection, I have trouble thinking it's a cross stitch and not a photograph. The designer is amazing with his/her colour choices. Enjoy every stitch, take care with your back🤗

Hi Debbie, so happy for you that the foot surgery went well. REALLY sorry about your back. Hope the therapy helps quickly. Your finishes and WIPs look super! If it helps to encourage you to work on the owl during AniMAYnia, check out Deb Wilson Stitches' second-to-last video, I think, or her past Instagram photos. She finished hers and it is AWESOME! You will LOVE the finished result on yours! Take care and see you in a month.

I love your pattern choices and I feel like our tastes are closely aligned! I did the owl for my dad's birthday and it was huge! A bit of an undertaking with all the blends but the finished piece is so impactful and really worth it! Happy stitching x

I hope you are feeling better soon! I am loving the Hippo and if I remember right, I have the Thunder Ridge kit but I imagine it is the original. I remember buying it before I was married so....lol. I still have a few kits from back then. I should dig through and just embrace the paper charts. PK has made me so spoiled!

Hippo Reflection is from Artecy. I do love working from paper charts and being able to just pick up and go, but I just started using mark up rx for one full coverage and I’m a fan, but it does guzzle the battery life on my iPad.

I'm glad you're doing well. The sampler Aux Fleurs is really pretty. It will be nice to see the finish on that one. I put Raven Queen down for a minute so I could get a couple of others finished. Are you beading as you go or will you do that last? I have a larger Q-Snap that I stitch Raven Queen on so I have been beading as I go along. I have been using the floss colors with the beads, but I'm thinking of using the "invisible" thread to see how it looks, and if I like it, I will use it for the rest because it will save time not having to change the threads so much.

For Miras I usually bead at the end and swap into a 11x17 qsnap. Beading is my least favorite thing and would much prefer to do it as I went.

I have watched her wip parade. Another is calico whimsy if you like dimensions kits. I love watching them and always find some new ones to add to my wish list.
