Fantastic!!! I have never seen someone have so man finishes 😁. You always stitch on a variety of projects. Especially love the finishes on the strong coloured fabrics. Welcome back, impromptu vacations are great. Sounds like you had a great time. The fabric on your Hogwarts piece is amazing. Love the quaker turtle, the thread is gorgeous! Ellinesscrafts stitched the dimensions kit with the bright buildings, the finish was shown in FT #50 if you care to check it out to see it completed. So lovely to see you again and all your projects! Glad you had a good time in New York, my husband and I loved visiting there a couple of years ago… Great finish on the orcas kit - it’s stunning! Congrats to your model stitching and all the finishes! So stunning!!! I'm happy you are back to your health now, again. :) The hippo (Fiona?) looks just awesome! And so does everything you stitch. :) Do you stitch daily? And if, how many hours a day? Because you got so much done and I'm stuck with one piece for month and month, which isn't half as big as most of your pieces. Okay, I'm a slow stitcher, too, but other than that... maybe you've a little tip for me how to get faster? :) All the best to you and take care! :)

Hippo is affectionately know as Ned (the head) 🦛. I stitch for a couple of hours each day but it is very broken up and usually little bits here and there between chores and errands, a big chunk of time is spent stitching in the car waiting on my kids at karate classes, or on weekends. I make monthly goals for each project and then when I pick them up I make smaller goals that I try and complete before I move onto another project and rotate them around until I meet the monthly goal. It’s the way I keep interest. 🐻

@@MamabearStitchery Awesome, how you manage to stitch so much in such short time. :) I'm really impressed and I totally get you with the interest thing... I'm a monogam stitcher, usuallly, but whenever my interest fades I don't like to stitch at all anymore. So I try to get from monogam stitching to a few wips I can change out from time to time. And I hope this will help me to get more stitching done. Unfortunately the piece I'm stitching for my daughter right now is one of those pieces I'm not interested in stitching at the moment, even it's a beautiful motive to stitch and not big at all. You seem to be a very fast stitcher, tbh... how long did it take you to get so fast or comfortable in stitching as you're now? :) Sorry, if I'm too curious or you feel bothered. I have a hard copy of soda stitch sewing cats from forever ago and honestly it is a bit tedious in that it folds out so large and breaks along the creases (I’ve stitched the cake bears which is the same style chart). Sodastitch Design is the shop name on Etsy and they have the chart as a pdf now for $8.90. 🐻
