It is definitely a big yes to working on the monthly ones next year. ❤ My goodness, 20 years already on that Mirabilia! Wow! That dress really does have some fabulous colours. And gosh, the dragon one is getting so close to a finish. Amazing!!!!!!!!
I went to check out Amelistitch. She has several beautiful designs I would like. Will keep checking for a sale. 😊 I say wait until they are all out. Love to see all your stitching. We also just celebrated our 20th anniversary on February 29th. Yes, we married on leap year day!!
Always love when you show progress on Celtic Ladies! They are such pretty colors and the faces are gorgeous. Working on my frog’s legs on the temperature chart as I watch you. I update every Monday. Happy stitching.
The Deadly Aquarium is the next SAL from LolaCrowCrossStitch. It is available for pre-sale now. 😊 Congratulations on your progress on your wonderful projects. I am in awe. 😄🙃
I always enjoy seeing your progress. I love the Celtic Ladies, so beautiful. And your Teresa Wentzler project is fabulous. I stitched one TW so I understand what an undertaking it is!! LOL. I watch Laura too and ordered a couple of Ameli Stitches after watching her video, she is definitely an enabler. LOL. Happy stitching………………
So excited to see your progress on your pieces, especially the Dragon Ride one! That's so gorgeous, and the backstitching is really enhancing everything! Looking forward to seeing the new Herschel chart, I want to do the CZook SAL but can't decide which one! ☺
Oh Sarah, you do get me into trouble! Will definitely have to check out the designer you mentioned, her patterns are really beautiful. So enjoy watching your channel and seeing all your progress. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Sarah love the progress on your family pieces they all are looking great. I went in to check out Amelistitch and her patterns are stunning. Have a few on my wishlist. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Oh, you got a lot done! But, oh the monthly patterns that you really like…. I had already bought the October one when Laura had shown it last fall. So then I had to go look and buy the other three that are available! 😂. I love them too! They are sooo pretty! Thanks for sharing! It is always fun to see your progress. Take care.
Hello Sarah, I absolutely love your Dragon ride, is there any way that could buy your pattern when you are finished with it please. Or do you know where I might be able to find it. Thanking you Angela
Unfortunately, my Dragon Ride pattern is digital so I can't pass it on. You can be on the lookout for a copy of Stitchers World magazine from September 1999, as someone told me it was in that issue.
Yes please…I am joining Carolyn on the Hershel SAL and would love to purchase all three patterns. Do all programs for charting designs migrate into pattern keeper well?
I'm not sure if all charting programs will work well with Pattern Keeper. I use WinStitch and you can adjust the settings to make sure it will be compatible, but it's still possible to produce a pattern that is not compatible.
My stitching time definitely varies based on life events. I get anywhere from 15 minutes up to an hour or more on school days while I wait for my kids, when I can work on my travel stitch. At home, I limit my stitching to evenings and occasionally afternoons for a little bit. So depending on what else is going on, I can get anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours or more in the evenings. Weekends have the possibility of more time, but can also be less if we're busy.
I know I just watched this.... but I don't think you said, on which day you would be starting the flower alphabet for Carolyn Zooks Birthday? As far as I remember she said she would not start it on her birthday, but on the 18th. So I guess I am going with that. Have you chosen your fabric and colors yet? Happy stitching 🪡🧵🥰
I don’t think I said the date, but I’ll be working on the Floral Alphabet on Wednesday & Thursday next week - the 20th & 21st. I believe her birthday is the 22nd and she said she would probably start it early, so I chose my Wed/Thurs rotation slot and she said that would be okay. Then she moved her start date even earlier to accommodate her travel schedule. I’m sticking with the 20th though - it’s the first day of Spring, too!
I have had so many new starts this year, that are all not very small, so I have a lot of WIPs and no rotation 😳Also being a slow stitcher, I guess I will start on the 18th with Carolyn and stick with it until at least the 21st, bringing it into spring. 🌷 Thank you 🥰
@@FrostyXStitch Sounds like a plan! I think I showed my fabric at the beginning of the year when I showed all my planned starts for the year, but I’ll show it again next week. I’m using Demoiselle by Picture This Plus, which is a light blue with splashes of other colors. And I’ve got a blue for the letters, pink for the flowers and green for the leaves.
Yes, you probably did. You always seem so organized 🙃I like your color idea. I was going to go with a dark and a light blue, as one of the new Nashville releases by JBW designs was done like that. But I have a beautiful variegated thread that was specially dyed for StitchBasel2023, which would look good on a pale green fabric. I will try it and if I don't like it, I will go with the blues on white. 😊
I’m stitching the Quaker Temperature chart for 2024 and really enjoying it. But tonight I was finishing February and realized I didn’t know where to place February 29. You may have addressed the question in the instructions but I couldn’t find the answer. I’m 80 now so that’s my excuse for anything that comes up! This is the third year I have worked your temperature charts and have really enjoyed them all. You’re a very talented young lady. Thanks!
Hi Judy, The Quaker pattern was kid of tricky to figure out how to add a day for Leap Year. I put up a video explaining my suggestions for the various temperature patterns and you can find Temperature Quaker around the 2 minute mark: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sv1uC7i3I4M.html I couldn't think if anything better than just splitting the final patch of February's section into two days. But you could also put a little heart next to the "J" there just outside of the February section that could represent the 29th.
What fun to see the sticker from Thumbelina in Solvang! That’s where I bought my first counted cross stitch kit years ago. It was a baby sampler from Denmark that I stitched for my son. I was hooked, and I still stitch almost daily. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects.
Love seeing your videos every week. I've also been watching your older videos, too. I'm at 17. You've made great progress on your cross stitch, this past week. Do you know where I might buy the Villa Mirabilia? I've looked everywhere! It's so beautiful. I miss seeing Smoky. Have a good week, see you next time.
I would say put a watch on eBay that can notify you if someone posts a Villa Mirabilia pattern. You can also check various cross stitch destash groups on Facebook to see if anyone has a copy they're selling. Unfortunately, that's one that is discontinued now, so it's hard to find. :(
I got on Ebay, and I found a new copy of Villa Mirabilia. I was so excited. It costed a lot but was worth it to me. Where did you buy your cloth, for yours, at?
I know that there is a lot of bst in the Dragon Ride, but the difference it makes is amazing. Thank you for showing us the border up close, I just cannot get enough of this design.
