I think you can have a stitch slump like a reading slump. I agree some stitches are better than no stitches. Love the color work sweater! It is looking so good.

I appreciate you keeping things honest - and hey, ten stitches is ten stitches more than you had! Some days/weeks are like that, where you just don't feel like stitching or don't get as much done as you had thought you would. Progress is progress, whenever it comes :) Your knitting is incredible, and that baby will be so lucky to have a sweater handmade by you 🥰 I about died when you said Amira was listening to the Michael Myers theme song - if that's not something out of a nightmare 😂 I love that she's into Halloween just like her mama! Not wanting to be creative is such a mood. I love counted cross stitch (and the crochet I do) cause I follow the patterns exactly. I totally get that making changes can make a piece more personal but I completely understand how it can be draining. 😂

Love spending some of my Sunday morning with you. It’s so fun to watch your progress on Halloween Quaker. I started in to the lower right corner, so I like seeing where we’ll meet in the middle. Love your videos. I am a knitter first and your sweaters are beautiful. Have you heard of Elizabeth Zimmerman? Or her daughter Meg Swanson? They are amazing and that is what Made me fall in love with knitting but they have some wonderful knitting patterns and she did a pbs show that you can often get for free from your library. Just lovely as usual

Hi Megan. Loved all the stitching and especially the Halloween stitches. I was stitching on Away We Ride as I was watching and thought, doesn't everyone start Halloween stitching in the summer??? I started in June 🤣😂 The sweater is gorgeous and I love the one you picked out for your next project. I'll almost always choose to knit a pullover instead of a cardigan----probably because I feel like I'm much slower when purling and although I've steeked a cardigan before to avoid purling, it's not my favorite thing to do. I feel like it could always go horribly wrong 😬😂 Enjoy the rest of July and keep stitching Halloween:)

A bee skep is most often made from straw. Interestingly, it is illegal to keep bees in skeps in the USA. This is because there are no removable frames for inspection.
