I stitched the Hawaiian Garden on 28 ct pale yellow opalescent and I also stitched the Hummingbird one which has a TON of beads. I won First Place ribbons for both of them

I love seeing the Chatelaine stuff! I have a few on my wishlist but 10% isn't enough for me to rush and buy them for them to sit in my stash. I'm at the point where I'm overwhelmed by my options to stitch🤣
Love your fabric choices, you put a lot of thought in to them. I stitch Mira, Bella and chats so am very interested to see your progress in all but especially the Chats.
I was really staring at your Maiden. I notice her colors are very close to the fabric color. I just started Rain Queen and fell in love with a Pistachio fabric. Did a floss toss and thought ok. Stitching the first 2 main colors which I'm finding almost blend into the fabric. Could backstitch I guess but now questioning the bead color blending in also. Oh the quandry.
Great video as always, and I am so glad I stumbled on your channel three months ago. I learn something new in each of your episodes. Please help me out on this quandary as I explore working on my first "fancy lady." Why Bella Filipina when Nora Corbett and her Mirabilia brand seem in my novice mind's eye far superior? I want to be fair to Aldrin Jay C Prilla, the designer for FP, but the designs seem to mimic Nora's body of work. I appreciate your insights. Since you've stitched both companies: What are the pros and cons? Also - you have inspired me to tackle my first Chatelaine. I am waiting for "The Serengeti Mandala" to land on my doorstep in May or June. Thanks!
I don’t find them that similar to Mirabilia other than they’re mermaids/fancy ladies. Most of Drins fancy ladies are goddesses and he’s done several (ex Gaia) that other designers have never done so I like that. Charting wise I don’t find them similar to Mirabilia, basically I’d say they’re a bit more complex/detailed than Mira’s.
@@twistedyogi13 this will be my first time trying a Chatelaine , so I got the mini mandala 5 and the workshop 02. I also have knotgarden spring in my cart… in case I fall in love with them 😉
LoL I normally LOVE the fancy ladies in dresses, and have not bought mermaids in the last 8 or 10 years, but now, I am losing my mind over Bella Filipinas. Can't get any right now, but I have a WHOLE on list of mermaids from them, just them, that have struck me as absolute NEEDS in my life, lol. Can't wait to get my first one :)
I am a recent subscriber to your channel - I stitch completely different things than you do but I LOVE seeing your pieces! Chatelaines, mermaids and fancy lady stitches fascinate me, but so far I am just an observer. You mentioned the Queen of Mirabilias - Luda - a couple of videos back and I am wondering if you have heard about her recently? I am a huge fan of hers but I'm not on Facebook or Instagram (hey - I'm a senior with limited tech skills - I'm lucky to be able to navigate Flosstube!) so I haven't seen any info about her since her brief video over a month ago. Thanks for any info you can give.
I was wondering if you would share the colour key for deep queen of the sea. I have the pattern but cant find the colour key. I understand if you dont but I would appreciate it so much. TIA.
