Love all that you have shown, you have enabled us all ,love the fabric dyeing,I wanted to mention that I downloaded that CS calculator, it has been a game changer for me Thankyou👏have a good week Thanks for sharing 👍🇳🇿❤️🪡
I love the happy bat! You are so inventive and brave to dye your own fabrics, needle minders, etc. I love your "can do' attitude Sarah! You go girl! 🙂😻
Fun finds for fall, I like your fabric color choice for Cabin In The Woods, I also use vintage jewelry for making needle minders. Thank-you for sharing another sweet video.
Hi Sarah! Your weekend with your friend sounds like a great time. I love the denim piece with the marks, looks like a stormy winter sky to me. The green is very pretty also. The gray did turn out very nice. Love the Halloween house with the addition of the pumpkins. You have such crafting imagination and abilities. Have a wonderful week. Dawn in Texas
I love the little pumpkins you made with the balls & acorn caps! They are adorable! Great first attempt to dye fabric! Loved seeing all your Halloween patterns!
You are so talented and creative! Wish I had a room to have a craft room! I have stuff everywhere! But do not have your talent at all! Love the additions to the haunted house! I love that magazine! Saw two I would love to stitch!
I get up every Monday morning and one of my first thoughts is "I wonder what The Northwoods Stitcher has for us today" - thank you for all of the things that you share with us
Awwwwwwwwwwe, I still have my necklace that you gave me!!❤ I keep it in my craftroom where I can see it!! I lovvve your pumpkins 🎃 and jack-o-lanterns!!
You are SUCH an enabler! Lol! I love your videos. The joy you have in your ‘collections’ is so palpable, I get excited for you, lol. Please keep making videos. I look forward to them every Sunday.
The dyeing looks like it was fun. I have some grape juice that I want to use for dyeing, but I'm not sure if I will get purple or blue. I want purple. I enjoyed seeing your Halloween patterns because they are unique. I haven't seen them before.
Hi Sarah I'm behind in replies😢 sorry. Life gets in the way sometimes. I would like to try dying fabrics but the chicken is strong in me 😅. The pumpkins look perfect on your house. Oh my how often should I say your mind is AMAZING. We love bats, we lost one yesterday, he was absolutely beautiful. Our garage is perfect for them cuties. Pumpkins anything is fabulous. Jacks are wild AWESOME 🎉. SEE YOU SOON DEBBIE IN CT
I keep my patterns in binders also. I categorize them in seasons, another in holidays, berries & alphabet. I feel if they are in designers I would have to spend too much time looking through them all. If I want Christmas, I go to the Christmas binders and pull out what I want. I also use the sleeves for several page patterns but just use my hole punch gizmo on single sheets. I also keep my magazines in binders by the year & name. I just reordered just cross stitch magazine and already have two empty binders marked for 2024 & 2025. Im needing another book case to put the overflow. 😂 trying to stay organized. (Thats a job itself)
Your creativity absolutely astounds me! I would love to go shopping with you, but I would be totally worn out within a half hour. Do you think that cheap cloth would hold dye differently even better quality cloth? For that “Whispered by the Gate” chart, fabric that is dyed as a sunset would be really pretty, I think.
I’m really not sure what type of cloth is best or matters. You do need to wet and rinse the cloth prior to dyeing and the fabric I had from China was full of something iridescent and soapy 😵💫 Ooo! A sunset fabric for the gate stitch! You got me thinking!!!❤️
An idea for your perforated ornaments… If you have a Crop O Dile, you can punch a hole through both layers, paper and felt. If you have eyelets, you can use the Crop O Dile to set them. If you want, I can loan you mine. I am not using it anytime soon.
Thank you! I have a Crop O Dile too but not sure I want to go through the front or hang with the traditional back ribbon. The Crop O Dile is as sharp as my leather punch. Might have to make some cards with eyelets now☺️
