Thanks Jennifer, I'm not a natural finisher, I really sweat over each one, but hopefully will get a little easier each time!!! Discworld books are basically my guide to living, there isn't a problem out there that can't be helped/solved by either Vimes or granny w, and sometimes the librarian!!!!

I like the idea of your cross stitch journal. I was just going to take photos and make a photo album so I could keep a chronological record of what I made especially when I get good enough to make gifts for people and I don’t keep everything.

Hi, thank you, your plan sounds like a good way to do it, I have struggles with what to do with my early stitches and I think I may have thrown put my two first accidentally as I can't find them anywhere, so I thought this was one way to track progress and keep things organised. But I can see these things adding up quickly!!!

What a great idea to add the buttons to the Cricket Collection finish - I just finished Spring and I think I'll look for some embellishments to add. I just started Autumn :) I'm also stitching Halloween Quaker although not as far along as you! I'm for sure going to frame it, it's a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing your stitching and be well!

Hi Sharon, the buttons I've used are the ones listed on the pattern, they are not on all the patterns (none listed on Autumn) but If you look under under floss listed, backstitch instructions there will be a 'buttons' header and it will list them there, they all seem to be from 'Just another button company' here in the UK I get them from Creative Nostalgia, patchwork rabbit or from 123 stitch as the company itself does not ship to the UK.

I can't manage to do really fancy finishes either. That's mostly because I'm just too impatient to take the time for all that. Your finishes look great to me!

Your finishes are beautiful and your Drawn Thread finish is amazing. As for finishing, it prefer a simpler finish where the stitching can shine without other elements distracting the eyes. There must be something in the air because suddenly I want to finish things too.

Great video, love the cats appearance at the start 😂 your finishes are fantastic, love the drawn thread piece , I have a similar one with kitchen vegetables. I have January of the Cricket Collection that you are more than welcome to if you don’t already have it and would like to stitch it.

What do you mean by lacing? Also where do you get your plastic project bags. I personally love the crinkles sounds lol. Love your channel. Thanks!!!!

Hi Angela, thank you xxx the plastic project bags I get from Tesco in the stationery section, I think they are 3 for £2. The mini ones are from Asda again in stationery dpt. When I say lacing mean I 'lace' the back of the peice on some foam board, like when you lace up a corset, you can tighten up or loosen up as required. Lindy stitches does a really good tutorial on how to, its what I followed. Hope that helps xx

Hi Sarah, thanks, considering how bad I usually am at matching colours, its turned out quite well!!! I've added the colours that I've used to the description box under the video, i got mine from woolware house and lovecrafts, they both charge the same.

The amount of charts in my stash let alone on my wish list grows daily and then the knitting and diamond painting and because I’m obviously in need of another hobby I’m trying to teach myself to crochet. Mental!!!

I know this video is a few years old but I was wondering if I could have the weeks conversation from NPI silks for trick or treat. I would greatly appreciate it love the pattern but those silks are way to expensive in Canada.

Found it: (as per Rachel Rae) the one NPI called for - 991bb I used Whitewash (Weeks Dye Works) the rest the called for are Dinky Dyes I again switched to Weeks Topaz - Goldenrod. Aussie Gold - Curry Red Dusk - Clockwork Black Coral - Kohl Sea Grass - Collards Wallaby Grass - Taupe Cocoa Bean - Havana
