Love your cards! Such a great idea to do! The Flea Market Flowers turned out really well too! The new pillows are really nice too! You are so creative, I just love see8ng you come up with new ideas! Happy stitching!
Sarah: Love the bottle brush trees added to the finish in the frame, so sweet, they are such nice finish's, I love the magazine design, the deer is beautiful. Abby Mikey the dog sends hugs. Your finishing is so lovely. It is called a shadow box, that Mary Mack is in, you could do a rap song of Mary Mack Mack Mack, beautiful bookmark. Looking forward to seeing the progress on all your stitching. You made me smile with your Santa, ewww the sound. Nordic Wear is made in my home state Minnesota, love the wears they make, they are over 75 years old. Sweet new stash, lovely gifts, many RU-vidrs only give away in the USA. Love your Roosters, so pretty. Sweet cards.
So glad you liked the video! Having a snowstorm Wednesday through Saturday 😬just got back from the grocery store. Have all ingredients to make mini lemon pound cakes in the new Bundt pan❤️🥰
I'm impressed that Flea Market Flowers is finished. Looks great. Winter Serenity is lovely. Hope you are safe from all the storms we in the Midwest see on the news. You said to nudge you if we haven't se😢en Wolves for a while. Love all of your creative ideas.
Hi! Love the new little pillow finish! The outline of the "To All a Good Night" pattern is a feather! Think snowy owl, etc. Your Sulky thread holder was a great find. Love TBE New England samp!er...very pretty. Happy stitching!
As always, one amazing video! Your talent is just unending! So wish I lived next door and you could keep me inspired! Your finished pieces were beautiful! Just amazing in awe of the things you find and do! 🎉🎉🎉Congratulations on 3K🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Love all your finishes and stitiching. I like what you find at the dump and goodwill and how you repurpose it. Not sure when you sleep, you are a very busy lady. Would love to see your craft room someday. Thank you for sharing.
Loved your Christmas cards!! They're Wonderful!! Soo creative!! ❤ I Always enjoy seeing what you've been doing!! Take care!! See you next time!!! Happy stitching!!! 😊❤❤❤❤. 🙂Barbara S.
3K🎉 congratulations no surprise to me, you are dynamite! Great video, lots FfO and new plans. Really enjoyed the walk through tutorial on the cards. Hugs
The Autumn Lane winter scene....I think they are making use of positive/negative space and incorporating it into the design. Zig zag are pine tree branches top rounded because branches from each side cross forming a bough/arch. I think it looks funky too! Excited to see what you come up with!!! Thanks for the new episode
Hi Sarah. I so look forward to Mondays to watch your video. Yay! Your flea market flowers is done. It looks nice. Can’t wait to see it framed. I love how you used the trees attached to the frame. So cute! Thanks for showing how you make the cards. Now I want to do some! I used to go to Camp Wool when it was in Kennebunk. I was sad when they relocated. It’s a great store.
I went Saturday to Camp Wool❤️Did some major damage in less than 15 min😬⏱️it’s a 2 hour drive for me so I’d better make it a yearly trek💲💲💲💲😱So glad you liked the video 🤗
Happy April Fool’s Day. Loved seeing your dog and all your stitching, of course. Looking forward to seeing what is in your Prairie Schooler binder. I’m sure I will see something I have to stitch. Enjoyed the card making even though I have never done any paper crafting.
Sarah the arch on the autumn line chart with the deer in the middle. it looks like to me you’re looking out a window and you’ve got evergreen trees on each side, covered with snow and you only see the edge of them🙂
Hi Sarah! I love your two sided finish of the gingham pieces. What a great idea! I stitched the Return of the Whales; it was a fun stitch! It was originally a kit for the Silver Needle Circle of Friends Club. I remember drooling over the Patricial Allison dragons when they were released, but I wasn't stitching a lot at that point and I wasn't purchasing much either. I have several Just Nan charts on those cards; I don't believe that I've ever actually stitched any of them yet. What a neat way to play Left-Right-Center. We play that often when we're camping, but usually with pennies :). Thank you so much for all of the inspiration! 🪡👠
Loved the two sided frame, perfect charts, i think. Now all you need is some corn stalks and a turkey to put on the thanksgiving side. Knowing you, I bet you have corn and turkeys somewhere in all your treasures. Wow, like that deer in the birch trees. Definitely like your style!
Love the Santa! the outline on To All A goodnight is an outline of evergreen trees. One on each side of the pattern as though you are looking thru trees. Pittsburgh, PA
Oh my goodness, my daughter made the Folk Roosters. So fun to see yours. To All a Good Night looks to me like it has the outline of fir trees at the sides. Love your Winter Serenity. I started that last fall but didn't finish it. You inspired me to work on it again especially since more snow predicted this week 🙄. Gotta love Maine! Hopefully you won't have snow for the retreat.
I started Winter Serenity and then it sat 4evah! Yes, pick it up again! Such a rewarding finish! Outline of trees? Of course!🤦🏼♀️Thank you for that! We’re on the 8-18 inch snow line 😬at least it’s spring snow and won’t stay long.🤗
Where did my comment go? Sorry if you saw this already...try #2. Your Flea Market Flowers looks great, I was surprised to see it finished. Great job. Winter Serenity is lovely. You have been busy, but you said to nudge you if we haven't seen Wolves in a while. Oh, i get it! Hope you are saft from the storms that we in the Midwest .see on the news. I love your creativity . Thanks
What a great flosstube! 🥰 The game’s name was “Left, Right, Center” 😆 I still have to put away my prize too. I’m looking forward to seeing all your Prairie Schooler patterns…I love PS so much! Alles Gute, bis bald 😊
Another wonderful video!! Believe the outline in To All A Good Night is supposed to symbolize pine branches. I could be wrong but that’s what it looks like to me.
For me, the Autumn Lane with the unique edging looks like you are looking through the forest of snow covered trees. The edges look like the pine trees. Just a thought.
I finally finished this video....I've been watching it in fits and starts! I love the cards, Sarah! I've resisted all these years getting into cardmaking and scrapbooking because I have so much stitchery stash already. But you tempt me. I do have a friend who is a really talented cardmaker but she does not stitch, so maybe she and I can combine effort. I know you had snow again! Hope it hasn't caused too much trouble! (My ex lives off in the woods not too far from your area so I watch his weather.)
This was 13 minis stitched together so it was a loooong video 🤪Hope your friend has a die cutting machine. It makes for creative small to really be easy to card up ❤️It’s 6:30am Sunday and there’s snow flurries! It’s supposed to be sunny and 60 tomorrow. Sure hope it is for the eclipse 🤓
OMGoodness… your finishes and FFOs are just amazing! Love seeing all the finds and how you repurpose them. Very inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing! I do so enjoy watching you! I hope you and your family had a Blessed Easter and that you have a wonderful week ahead! 🙏🙏🙏
Great job on your cards. So glad I didn’t sit next to you at our last Stitch & Sip as I would have ended up purchasing everything you got, great choices. See you at the retreat in Augusta.
Lovely as always to catch up with you, Sarah. I absolutely love your latest fully finished framed pieces. They all look wonderful. Great dump & goodwill finds.
You are so creative. I am still trying to figure out on what frame size I need for my cross stitch pieces. I am hoping I can frame my own pieces once I figure it all out. Can not wait to see your Prairie Schooler Collection. I just bought the Prairie Birds. I am going to kit that up this week so hopefully next week I can start it. Happy Stitching.
I love all of your ‘Sooners rather than laters’ so many possibilities! Your cards turned out really good, it’s fun to see the cross stitch mounted on the card, what a lovely card to receive. I enjoy hearing about your finds at the dump, there’s nothing like that where I live! Your Library Stitchers Retreat will be here before you know it! Exciting! Take cate!
I totally envy your “dump” store! Your cards are beautiful, what lucky recipients! Your finishing is so inspiring, love watching your videos and your excitement is contagious. 💞
To All a Good Night- it appears that the scene is framed by pine trees. The viewer is standing in a wooded area and is viewing Santa through a break in the treees.
Such an enjoyable episode, the frames for your finished pieces are perfect. I do like the effect of the gingham stitching fabric. Much inspiration taken by me from your card makes, please do some more.❤️
Hello. I do enjoy your videos. I will get to meet you at the library stitcher retreat. Looking forward to it. While I am there I was wondering where the dump house is. If it fits in I would love to see it. We are coming up Wednesday. Have a great week.
What?! You want to come to my dump house😄?? Would love to meet up and tour before hand! The dump is closed on Thursday but maybe we could go Wednesday? And a Goodwill or two?😊drop me an email! ThenorthwoodsStitcher@gmail.com
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher I will check with the others that are going with me. And let you know. We are driving up on Wednesday from just outside of Philadelphia pa. Don’t know what time we will be there. We are also thinking about going to the crafty gramulkin ( not sure if that is speeded right). I will let you know.
With the 'To all a good night', the white on both sides are snowtrees, that's what you are seeing, and that's why the edges are ragged. Take a step back and view the picture of the chart from a distance: hou will see it. Have fun stitching!
You are right. You found the perfect frame for your Celtic Alphabet. Do you have anymore info on that design? I would love to track down that pattern. I haven't seen it before. Its a wonderful piece.
Love that Celtic alphabet one, who is the pattern by? Also you said you soak your Aida, can you tell us how, i have a dreadful time getting creases out of Aida, even after washing, ironing and even Best Press, they are still visible.
I’m still poking around the craft room for the Celtic alphabet pattern. I’ve even checked my diary, twice! Stay tuned. I’ll find it! I soaked my fabric flat on a massive cookie sheet (don’t think I’ve ever cooked on it 🤓) in cold water for a day or two then I iron it while slightly damp. It really helps with the creases
