You have some lovely projects to work on. I see a difference using white floss also - it seems to be thicker than the other colors and I've always assumed it's because of the dyeing process. And I've also had the issue with colors being slightly different - some of the floss I have is 40 years old! It's been in a binder and protected all these years, but still very old. Have fun with all your 24 projects!

I smiled when you spoke about your frustration with white floss. I too am a member of the club of stitchers who cannot stitch well with white floss, and I have done all sorts of needlework for well over 30 years. I am also doing WIP Warriors 24:24. I had not heard the term tissue boxing but I now realize that I have a few on my 24:24 board. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
