I am so pleased to see you doing so well….I have weathered this recovery twice with my mom and the first two weeks are the biggest challenge. Have fun with your starts and enjoy your forced sit still time, knowing the world is keeping you in their thoughts.

Finally got to watch your latest and love your May Madness!!! If only I knew how to order on line I would definitely be joining you....have the $$$ but not the know-how. But oh yes....forgot, I have to finish my gift stitch...Mr and Mrs Cardinal....im missing out on all the fun! I also wanted to stitch the Blackberry Dragon with Darren, Ellie and everbody but can't. I keep telling myself there will be plenty of other fun things to stitch and do, once I finish this pattern. Thank you so very much! You are so very encouraging! I have been unable to stitch for the last 3 years.,I have needed cataract surgery. Covid slowed down the surgery. At present I have had surgery on the right eye. Of the 95 percent success rate mine has fallen into the 5 percent that just didn’t work. I am scheduled for my left eye in a few more weeks. I don’t mind wearing glasses I just really need to stitch. I have been in deep dark depression, but I watch your floss tubes and you lift my spirits. Please keep sharing! So nice to see you beautiful face and see what you are up too. I, like you, think I have sooo many projects (actually less than 10) but feels huge to me. Have been a one project at a time stitcher until October / November last year. Enjoy what you do and how you do it. Continue to feel better!!!

You mentioned categorized charts, yes! As I don't have any shops anywhere where I live, I must order on line. I use Microsoft Office, Excel and use the tabs on the bottom of the sheet to list each designer I have and what I have of theirs! Believe me it saved me from buying the same chart many times. While shopping on line, I open the excel sheet, find the designer tab on the bottom, open it and there is the list I have of that designer. Saved me lots of money!!! I store my charts like you do in magazine holders, however I have a lot more holders than you do!!!!

Love your new starts and your progress on your wips. I am glad you are feeling ok. Don't worry about the Owl Forest kits, I am working on one right now and they are great to work with. My only suggestion is to work from the large chart. Happy stitching!

Owl Forest kits are so easy to follow, you’ll see! They give a full chart and then they make it even easier for us by setting out all items to be stitched on a separate copy where you can cut them out and fix them near where you’re working for ease of reference. I love their kits and I have a….few…

Hi Teresa, your babies have grown so much, just want to scrunch them up in a big cuddle..............so pleased you have had your op and wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery. I love the decor in that room, especially the wall paper, where did you get it from? Also with so many cross stitches on the go, do you keep them on frames etc. because I spend ages sorting out the right size frame for each project and it would be so much quicker if I could keep them on frames but then storing them when they are that bulky is difficult, so I just wondered how your going to do it?

Maiden of Tubbataha is definitely a May start..I won’t forgive you if you don’t start it! There is definitely something in the air as I also decided to throw caution to the winds and have lots of new starts, my thinking is that I won’t live long enough to finish everything so why miss out on the joy of stitching on them?! However, I am away in our tiny caravan in Cornwall from this weekend, and I can’t stitch as it’s too small, so my #Maymadness will mainly happen in June! So with the help of Create Nostalgia and Sparklies I have lots of new starts in my future too!

loverly to see you back and by the looks of it, the surgery went well. You really dont have many projects, even with all of your starts. Not compared to me at least. But I was wondering. Because I have bought a new webcam for my flosstube, and I dont know of any program that I can use to record and edit it in. Do you have any tips or ideas of what to use? I used my macbook last, but it can handle it very well. so I thought I would use my windows stationary computer instead. Great to see you again. Hope you will get better soon =)

Teresa, You are just like me in that when I place an online order and since I'm paying for shipping, I figure I will add another chart and more... AND I should stitch from my own stash, AND my taste have most definitely changed since I restarted stitching 5 years ago. I think we stitchers all go through the same. You look fabulous post surgery, very healthy and happy. Love the girls in the background. Hugs from AZ.

I'm on my bed with my sleepy fur babies stitching away, locked in my room so that my son, #1 interruption, has no access. As for lighting I understand my stitching time is between 9pm and 3am (son goes to sleep and hubby comes home and in bed.) So the lamp is all I have till summer. I do commiserate with you. I can't do more than two stitchies at a time. I just like to focus on what I have. I tried and couldn't. With Crochet I'm the same way, but that's because I use very very small hooks aka stitches, say size 13, 14, maybe 12 and make fine art pieces with beads and gemstones so I focus alot.

Your dedication to doing these videos is awesome. I don't know anyone who would have an operation less than 2weeks ago and be doing this. It's probably good for you tho because it's helped you move without overthinking. Could almost tell when you moved passed your pain threshold a couple times. Well done you. X

Meds are a wonderful thing. The only thing is you’ll realize a MONTH from now, the things you said the 1st two weeks. Have some fun and say whatever you feel. It’s so refreshing, that how I was on Christmas Eve. It all turned out quite well. Please feel better soon. My daughter took away my meds, lol 😂 Will you be able to wear high heels? My goal for next year😊🧵

How funny. I have just discovered Create Nostalgia too! Very impressed also. She even gave me a slight discount as postage could take a little longer than normal.

Glad your surgery went well and you’re recuperating well🥰. Go wild girl, start everything , might as well while you’re stuck and bored. It’s lovely to see your pieces you’ve framed on display, that’s a whole lot of little stitches you’ve made to made beautiful pictures. I do the same thing, I go on a cleansing binge and surprise myself by finding things I’ve bought and kitted up then put away till I finish another project. Then I watch someone’s video and get all excited and go buy another pattern I love, it’s just crazy, I have more projects than I have life left to stitch. Then there’s the yarn, needles, patterns and all the project bags . Next is all the beads wires, bits and tools to make jewelry and never mind the sewing stuff and several sewing machines😵‍💫 It’s just crazy and since Covid started and I lost all my interest in doing anything except knitting a few pair of socks. I love your hair by the way, it really suits you well. Try and be easy on yourself so you heal properly. 🥰🙋🏼‍♀️

I will never get them all done but I enjoy the stitching and knowing I have something always available to do. Knitting is same way for me.
