Blue is my favorite color so I would stitch it in blue. Red would be my second choice for American Blue. I am so glad your family was able to visit you on Mother's Day. Thank you for sharing your life with us and keep on stitching.

As to work and long hours...please don't let the stress get to you! Sounds like your taking good care of yourself...but do make ❤ YOU ❤a priority!!!

Enjoyed your video. The Pretty in Pink is a lovely pattern on that fabric. I went to Barefoot Needlearts today. I came down to Myrtle Beach on Sunday, and that was the first store I shopped at. I have a metal stand! I use it when I go to sit and stitches. I have my favorite needleminder on it. It's so nice to have spare time even though I'm retired. I'm just busier 😊 I would stitch with the color blue for Americana Blue pattern. It's very pretty. Have a wonderful week 🌷

If I were to stitch the blue pattern, I think I would do it all in blue, but perhaps add a touch of color here and there. I saw Colorado Cross Stitcher do this and it’s such a great touch. Another great video. Chris

I just love the Toes In The Sand piece! I am about halfway done with mine! It’s such a fun, easy, quick, and relaxing stitch! I’m loving it and getting so excited for the class! PS-you might have to come say hi to me-depending on how brave I am that day. I love meeting stitchy friends, but my social anxiety doesn’t always love me. I’m fine if someone approaches me-but sometimes I just cannot bring myself to be the one to approach. 😅 PS-I love the monochromatic idea-but I would probably change it to an overdyed red

I am not good at SALs! I’m going through my WIPs seasonally and trying to knock out some that have very little left or have been lingering for too long! I have made a start or two as well! I do enjoy monochromatic stitching because you really don’t need to think as much! I love the Americana Blue but would stitch it in red. I really have no blue in my home with the exception of one bedroom, but it is more nautical themed. Mother’s Day was rather sad for me this year-no visits, one phone call, two late text messages. Ah well, maybe next year!

American Blue is a gorgeous pattern and I would definitely stitch it in blue. I keep,a list of designs I would like to stitch. Because I am a monogamous stitcher I keep the list short. I stitch to quiet my mind so try not to put pressure on myself by overachieving.

Yes I love monochromatic stitching. I would do American Blue in a light blue tread I have DMC 3755 on aida 18 ct oatmeal. I've heard others state there is an American Red, I haven't checked that yet.

I am working on Americana Blue right now and I am almost halfway done. I am using DMC 932 on white Aida 16 count. I love monochromatic projects and Im addicted to this one. I am a monogamous stitcher.

I'm glad you had your family together for mother's Day. There's nothing better. One of my sons wasn't available much this weekend so I had mother's Day with my husband and my other son and then next Saturday we're going to do it all again. With all of us. There is nothing better! I love stitching one color projects. Blue is my favorite color and I wear it a lot. But for decorating in my home, red is what I gravitate to. So I would probably find a nice deep red for that pattern.

I have become a fan of October House, just by seeing these last videos. That pattern is beautiful! I would not stitch it in blue, I have no blue in my house, although I think it's lovely.
