I love that you show us pieces still in Q Snaps and not ironed. Real life! I’d much rather have a video from you than know that you were spending time to make sure each piece was perfectly pressed and out of its working frame.

Hi Helen: Congratulations on the Fly By Night finish, SnowQueen is a lovely design,nice progress on your stitching, I so love the turkey design, so cool, Helen you have some sweet designs in progress, I also like using two threads, 😅that is a lot of coverage on your new start. I always keep my pieces in Q Snaps or hoops. Easier to take out and just start. Beautiful projects. I absolutely LOVE the Santa.

I admire anyone who can stitch on multiple projects at a time. I am a monogamous stitcher and have to finish each piece before moving on. Mind you, they are not fully finished!😂 Very nice WIP parade! ❤️🪡

I think a mid year look is great. I kitted up quite a few projects at the beginning of the year. Then I decided I like small seasonal stitches so I haven’t touched many of the ones I kitted up. I also lost my mind and signed up for a bunch of clubs from Fat Quarter Shop. I’m about to cancel all except the stitch quarterly and the Lori Holt Stitch cards. I have decided I’m not purchasing any new patterns for the rest of the year. Let’s hope I stick with it. 😂

Thanks for sharing your WIPS. I recently finished the Owl Forest House Plants, but still need to FFO it. Lots of bright reds, corals, and oranges in it along with the greenery. Can't wait to see your progress on these projects.

Love your floss tubes. I did all 9 of Mirabilia's reindeer.last year. I stitched them on 30 count Murano (the old Murano) in Cadet Blue. I was recovering from Achilles tendon surgery. No weight bearing for at least a month. I don't want to see a reindeer for a long time. Best of luck finishing yours. All of your WIPs are fantastic!.

Hi Helen! It seems as if when I turn on my computer and see a video from you that there is a tornado warning here or a severe thunderstorm! But here in Iowa it has been just about a weekly event for the last 3 or 4 months. Really enjoyed your WIP parade, it kept me sane in this crazy weather event!! 😂 Really love the four elements, the colors and the pattern just lovely!

Love to see all your WIP's. It is so good to see what you are working on. My favorite is 324 with all those beautiful colors. You only have 17 projects? I have 30 of them and I figured I could work on 1 a day with 200 stitches and that way all my projects got some love on them. It is a little overwhelming but I love doing them. In July I will be working on 2 of my Christmas projects so all my other ones go away until August. Happy Stitching.

I am so envious of your low number of WIP’s I have 64. I have finished 2 this year and I will be working on one this July but I don’t think I will finish is Teresa Kogut Land that I Love and it’s been a WIP since it came out. I love it so I’m not giving up.

It was great seeing your WIPs. I watch your flosstubes for the fabric you choose as much as for the patterns! Your fabric choices are luscious! Do you choose fabric by what colors catch your eye, or do you try to buy fabric colors that match or come close to what patterns suggest? Pumpkin King had my heart going pitty-pat!

I mostly go by what catches my eye and do a floss toss to make sure everything shows up. I have quite a stash so I always try to find something first before ordering it.

I have abut five or six wips. I started several a few weeks ago. I haven't stitched on Mirabilia's Raven Queen for several weeks and need to get back to it. It's not hard, but I've been more in the mood to work on small projects. My husband does not like me watching wip parades because they are very enabling. He always says "Oh boy", when he sees me watching one.

I love seeing the WIPs all at once! I have 12-15 going, but also 4-5 finishes for 2024! From your list I want to do Fly By Night and Santa is Coming to Town! My Snow Queen is a bit farther along, but not too much! I appreciate that you use a lot of Aida as that is my preference. Seeing your lovely work on Aida makes me so happy! It's funny, sometimes I feel like the majority of my wips are on lugana, but that may be because Aida is easier for me to work with so I actually finish those pieces 😂

Perfect timing-watched on my lunch break. Now I’m ready to go home and stitch! It seems crazy to work on when it’s 93 degrees outside but I started an autumn piece last night with a brand of floss I’ve never used before(Threadworx). I’m really enjoying it!

Oh my love wip parades. 🤔 hmmI like the autumn lane halloween one. And love the towne one. I bought green fabric for it so now may put this on my list when it comes and get some orange fabric. All is great. I have been monogamous with my full coverage since feb 1. Am feeling the omg don’t have any done but this is 3 pages and bit left so not giving up. Then a new grandbaby in nov so hmm stocking how fast canI do a stocking. Not a dimensons gold I hope.

Lol so after that uh our 50th anniversary of or first date which he remembers i dont on Nov 16 or Christmas. Lol along with the stocking..

Always enjoy seeing your progress...very motivating! Wondering if you ever work on 18ct? That's my sweet spot, but I notice many seem to use one strand on 18/ 36ct. I've been using 2 as I just don't like the coverage & it seems to wash out the color...could you also tell me where you found the black lugana? Shared your concerns about the stiffness of aida. Tiny modernist piece is adorable!Happy Stitching!

I stitch on 18 every once in a while. I feel the same way about the floss, which is probably why I don't use it as much. One strand isn't enough coverage, but two strands can be really thick. I got the 25 count black lugana from 123stitch.

I am almost always a middle starter stitcher. in order for me to know which is top or bottom I sew a little bit of floss in the upper left hand corner and that tells me that is the top left of my stitching.
