Hello from NC Vicki…thank you for so kindly pulling out all your beautiful works in progress….the colors of the fabric and threads are stunning…..just stunning. I hope you have a wonderful time with your Mom.
Virginia, I just finished watching both of your videos of your wips and loved them!!Your stitching is absolutely beautiful and I love so many of your patterns! And your bags are gorgeous! You have patterns that I have never seen and have ordered one of them. I like stitching samplers. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful work with us
Thank you for your video. Whew! How much fun was that!!! You have so many lovely projects. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this! Have a wonderful time with you Mom on your trip! Take care and happy stitching!
Hi Vicky! I enjoyed your WIP Parade! You have so many beautiful projects. So many to choose from...LOL! Thanks for sharing! I hope you enjoyed your retreat! Enjoy your time with your Mom! Happy and safe travels! Enjoy the rest of the summer!
Have a great trip with your Mom. Love your WIPs. I am converting my fabric stash to the way you organize your fabric. I think it will be easier to find fabric for new starts and keep it organized. Thank you for making videos
I love relaxing with people like you Vickie I just love you .......... you are so precious i might not know exactly what you may be talking about thank you for being so wonderful hahahaha goodness you bring my blood pressure down thank you dear
Love your wip parades! I made this one last for 2 weeks because I knew you were going to be away for a while. Hope you are having a wonderful and safe trip with your Mom!!
So many Wips. I am more a person who stitches only one or two projects a time. I really love the Carolin Manning Design you showed. I think i have to bought this too.
I stumbled upon your floss tube a few weeks ago. I tend to watch all floss tube while at work. I work nights so I can get away with having my phone on my desk. I kept telling myself that I knew someone that you looked like. I couldn't figure it out for the longest, then all of a sudden it popped into my head. You remind me of Snow White! Even the hair!
Watched both wip parades, just loving seeing all your projects. I have to admit, I had popcorn while I was watching....so much fun! Thanks for sharing all your wips....loved it! Enjoy your trips!
Thank you for sharing your wips. A wip parade is a lot of work. I am impressed with the diversity for your projects. I nearly spin out my coffee when you said “ dear rear”. Too funny Have a great day will look forward to your next floss tube.
I enjoyed watching both parts of your midyear WIP parade. I've stitched a few of the designs you showed, almost all of them on 28-count lugana. I look forward to seeing your progress. I'm A monogamous stitched --- slow but sure.
Thanks for taking the time to show all your beautiful WIPs. They're all lovely (and you're entitled to have as many as you want 😃 Enjoy your retreat, and happy travels with your mom. Take care, Arleen
Love your beautiful ladies your stitching on them is amazing im trying to start them next year as im a bevinner in cross stitch 1 year ago i started keep up your lovely stitching
Thank you so much. I love watching both parts. I hope that you and you Mom have a great trip and seeing wonderful things and visit with loved ones. Look forward to watching you again when you return.
Oh my goodness, you have so many wips, and they are all so beautiful. I wouldn't know which one to work on first ❤ i love your project's and enjoy watching your channel, while i stitch. Ive seen so many things i would live to do and keep pen and paper handy to add to my wish list
Thank you for your WIP parade, part 2. I enjoyed watching both parts of your mid-year WIP parade and thoroughly enjoyed all the stitching that you shared. You have so many lovely projects in progress. Happy stitching. 😊
I always love your wip parades. I like how you really change things on your projects. You have such a great variety of different projects which is nice.
Took lots of notes on the Aida’s and the 32 count Lugana fabrics. Your stitching is just beautiful and hope you can get some of them finished before the end of the year. Also hope you have a great time at your retreat and traveling this summer and meeting up with family. Happy Stitching 🪡🧵🥰
I absolutely love everything. Its so beautiful. I will never judge you. I have more wips than I would like to have and some I never hardly get to but I stitch by mood. I also squirrel. If something strikes my fancy then I buy it and start it. My problem is I cannot look at one thing for very long. So I end up putting it down and stitching on something else. Oh well...eventually something will get finished. Have a great summer and see you when you get back. I pray you and your mom will be safe.
I know what you mean about that yellow on G. Leger! However, the DMC 368 (green) really bothered me. I had a bit done, but then took it out and replaced it with DMC 3052. I am so much happier.
"Stitcher" instead of "stitched" in my previous comment! By the way, I'm going to check out the Brenda Keyes designs. My favorite designs are by Teresa Kogut, Kathy Barrick, Long Dog Samplers, and Ink Circles.
I loved every minute of this movie of a WIP parade. Profuse thanks for keeping me company while I worked on "Life and Liberty" by Sue Hillis Designs. Have a great summer and safe travels.
Oh, Vicky! Your enabling is killing me! 😉😄😄 If I added one thing to my wish list, I added 6 or more. I hope you had a wonderful time at your retreat and are now having a fantastic time with your mom. What a great thing to do! I look forward to your next video, as usual. ❤
Just watched your Flosstube Extra - Mid Year WIP Parade Part 2, and I'm loving how your projects are coming along. Your dedication to stitching is truly inspiring.🙂We would love to connect and collaborate with you.
Love all your pieces. Beautiful stitching. On your piece where you made a note to move everything over 2 stitches: Would it be better to stitch per the pattern but stitch the butterflies LAST, that way you can either fudge them (use one or two less stitches) or center them (since they are the ones that would butt up against your border). Just a suggestion, as I have been stitching for over 60 years (am 75 this year) & know I would rather break my arm than frog too much (lol). But, yes, after a while, you do have to study your pieces (& keep in mind sometimes patterns ARE WRONG (not by much, you know, a stitch or two). Thanks for taking the time to show all your pieces (saw Part 1 so HAD to watch Part 2 (ha ha).
Thank you so very much for sharing❣️🥰 Totally inspired + enabled here❣️🥰 For you and your family, please stay healthy, safe, + happy always❣️🥰 Enjoy your retreat + summer vacation❣️🥰 Happy stitching❣️🥰
I loved the full WIP parade Vicky. I was thinking about the ones that you really want to finish and I know you like to SWYWWYW, so I was thinking how you might do both. Maybe you could pick 6-8 projects that you want to focus on a finish for. Then each month have a set number of days that you want to spend on those projects e.g three days at the beginning and three in the middle. Then for those days you pick what you want from those projects. Then as you finish things in those projects, you put other ones in. I thought that could be a method that might work with how you like to stitch.
So enjoyed your Wip parades. I finished in a Perfect World about a month ago. I’m also working on Let Love Reign along with you and the other pattern on the back cover as well! Love them !
Goodness it was nice that you spent all evening with me I was priveleged to spend all afternoon with you I kept you on all night loop You are precious dear
LOVED the parade. Got some great ideas. If I may say, when you show your wips would you please say if you are stitching with one or two threads? That would be very helpful.
Loved watching both parts of your wip parade so many pieces you showed I have kitted up and want to start but I’m trying to use this year to knock out wips I’m allowing myself one more start and considering I finished 5 so far this month I may deserve a new start next month I really loved seeing your map of hawk run and that may have to be the winner btw you said you like stitching houses have you seen Quaker dwelling by Kathy Barrick 😊
So, it took me a couple of weeks, but I made it thru parts 1 and 2 of the wip parade, and WOW! You are stitching on such gorgeous things! Big gorgeous things 😂. I don't know how you remember the details of them all. But you are clearly enjoying the journey with them. Glad you found your missing pattern! That's too bad about being off on that chain in the Let Love Reign piece. Did you try lining up the chain with the motifs above it to see where the counting mistake was made? It's so frustrating when that happens, but it sounds like you have a good plan to move forward with it. There's so many other stunning things to look at on that piece that I'm sure it won't detract from the overall look. Happy and safe travels to you and your mom!
FYI…I am watching Country Stitchers latest video. They announced you as the winner of a sampler kit. You might want to hop over to that video and contact them.
I Always buy plenty enough ( not sure that wording is correct😅)of a floss to finish a project. Even DMC. I’d rather have to much then not enough. Fun videos of all your projects.
Love your stitching. You have so many projects going. Do you have needle, scissors, etc in each bag or do you have a bag/box with supplies that can be used for each and all.
I really enjoyed your WIP parades (both 1 & 2). I usually stitch on linen and sometimes Lugana but have never stitched on Aida. I'd love to know when you stitch on 16 or 18 count Aida, do you stitch over 1 thread or over 2? Have a wonderful summer. Sounds like a fun time with travels and retreats.
I love your Huckleberry Farm by the Blue Flower. It really shows up well on the glacier aida. I would like to stitch this for my daughter. Could you tell me the which flosses you substituted?
Thank you 😊. I used Gentle Arts-Brown Bear in place of Weeks-Chestnut I used Gentle Arts-Deep Sea in place of Weeks-Teal Frost I used Gentle Arts-Weathered Barn in place of GA-Country Redwood I used Weeks-Mascara in place of CC-Black Coffee
Hi - chart at 26 minutes - could you have made two of the chain links a stitch too long? I thought I saw at least one that might be a bit longer? Lovely video again. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hello Vicky! I am Paola from Italy. I liked very much your double wip parade and enjoyed. You are great and very funny. Your stitch are so well done. May I ask you why you only stitch on evenweave and not on linen. It's just my curiosity. Thank you very much again and Happy Stitching!
Could you let me know the make / manufacturer of the magnetic cable ties you use to tighten the fabric on your scroll frames please. Great wip parade by the way ❤🇬🇧
You are hunting for your mistake in Let Love Reigns. It looks like your flower that is the farthest to the right in the border is not as close to the ark as the one on the left. It may be just the way the camera shows it but that is what I think I see.
Hey there Virginia Stitcher. Really loving July '23 WIP parade and wanted to message you privately about Let Love Reign. But your HOME does not have an "about" tab. That's the only way I know to send private youtube message. Is there another way to reach you. Eleanor
Did you know that the owner of the company that produces Arabeska frames went to army when russia attacked Ukraine in 2022 and he died protecting our country? 😢😢😢😢😢 so terrible loss for us
Yes, I would do my best to attend your retreat (based on work) and bring a friend or two. Not providing meals is ok with me - is there somewhere close by to eat at for dinner? 1 3 4 7 8 9 10
