Your Nora Corbett's you shared are stunning. Every time you said isn't it pretty, I yelled out YES! I am so trying to resist buying Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow and the Map of Hawk run Hollow. I think when I do get them I will get them kitted up by Traditional Stitches. For now though, must wait until budget says okay. Great floss tube.

The couching on your spider webs is AMAZING. I just did couching for the first time and I shared it on my Instagram but I did NOT enjoy that. Trying to hold my hoop and couch with the two needles 😱 I rode the struggle bus all the way to crazy town. Your webs look sooo good so I know you have a talent for that. 😍 I just handmade cording (for that same project too) for the first time and it was a lot of fun to make that and so easy to do. I have heard about a tool but had never seen one before. That’s pretty cool! I enjoyed your second video. Can’t wait to watch some more.

Thank you for your comment! I know just what you mean about the mermaids. I try to bead as I go along. If I finish the hair then I do the beads and then again if there are beads in her hands, finish the back stitching and bead. It helps to break down the pattern. I left the beads for last once and it was so hard to complete. I won’t do that again!!
Hi Samantha…just found your channel and starting from the beginning so apologies if I’m repeating comments. Love how you jump into the complicated stuff with Mirabilia’s and Nora Corbett designs. I’m a fan too but lately the amount of beading intimidates me. The alphabet is called Enchanted Alphabet. I stitching it in 1993 and still have it hanging above a book case in my living room. Off to catch up with more videos!

I also stitched Lavender and Lace ‘Enchanted Alphabet’. I wasn’t cross stitching when my 2 girls were babies so no opportunity to hang it in my babys’ room but my oldest daughter has it hung in her babys’ room, just as you are hoping. It was such an enjoyable project.

Stumbled across this 2nd flosstube of yours and HAD to go back and listen to #1! Awesome! I am from Australia but have visited Winnipeg years ago, and I too stitch in hand'. I've tried hoops and scroll frames and every other frame but I always get frustrated with them. Would love to hear/see how you bead. I have that invisible thread but it drives me crazy. Hello from a fellow Canadian! Love your stitching! We have such similar stitching tastes! I was lucky enough to be in the first batch of What Remains is Love and I had to start it immediately. You'll love it, it's such a fun stich! It was very special as it was the first project I started after our daughter was born and got to add her initials along with the rest of our family! There is a Facebook group too for those stitching it, the pictures everyone is sharing are so fun. I have the Halloween Tree in my stash and you've inspired me to stitch it on blue, very cool!
