Hi lovely, great video and I love you crochet blanket. Thank you so much for the shout out I really appreciate it. Over here in the UK, dog and cat rescue centres or vets, like knitted or crochet blankets, but the only thing is they are more than likely to get dirty. I don't know if it is the same in your area. Big hugs, take care and stay safe xxx 🧶🤗🧵🥰

My dough bowl isn’t as deep as I would like but it’s very inexpensive-Hobby Lobby! It’s almost like a trough?? It’s a lightweight fake wood. I do have some items I had hoped to sell at a retreat this spring-which has been canceled. I’m hoping I can sell them in your FB group in Feb! I have made a bunch of floss bling to put on hoops, chain necklaces, zipper pulls. Hubby doesn’t want me doing an etsy shop for tax purposes plus my disability pay. Not worth the hassle but your sale sounds like a good fit for me! Thanks!😃🤞

Firstly, thank you about telling me about wool warehouse.co.uk. I live in UK but have never come across them. It's all the stitching fabric they've got that I'm interested in. Congratulations for finishing your baby blanket😁. Michelle from MommalovesyouGB is fantastic!. I have a beautiful thick wooden fruit bowl I use as a small cushion holder, it has ONE in at moment, which incendently a freebie by Michelle"Be sassy"(I'll be back texting later)

The crocheted baby blanket is beautiful! I love the color! Maybe a local nursing home? Elderly women really love blankets to lay over their laps or over their shoulders. Love "Crow's Lullaby". The stitching is beautiful! Your Zooms are fun! Thank you ♥️

Wonderful to see you Stacy! You were definitely in a starting mood. Thanks for sharing you wonderful WIPs, haul and all those new charts. That blanket from Attic24 is going to be beautiful. Her blankets are amazing! I just bought Winds of Autumn and I love it. There are quite a few charts that I had on my list and now I have them all in one book. Miss you all on Zoom. I'll definitely try to catch the next weekend session. Hugs and Happy Stitching!

Well you can get them online (the dough bowl) and I got two for $20. Now it wasn’t authentic, but perfectly fine for displaying small cushions. Also they have some at Hobby Lobby. Of course the antiques are better, but hey. And a basket or salad bowl would look pretty too with smalls in it. Many things would work. So just use your imagination.

I love all your projects!!! I use a thin lightbox, (usually for tracing), under my dark fabrics so that the light comes up through the holes so you can see them... they have a lot of cheap ones on Amazon, basic ones work wonderfully!!!

Hi Stacy! Dough bowls are so expensive because the authentic ones are hand made, usually by the Amish. I found a trench bowl, long and oblong shaped, at Hobby Lobby. (I will shoot a picture to your email address.) It does the trick for a very reasonable price. I hope to have an authentic dough bowl someday. My girlfriend owns an Amish Furniture shop in Austin, TX. I hope to go to Amish market with her sometime and buy one then.

Your crochet blanket is so pretty. I make small quilts for officers to give to children when who's parent(s) were taken into custody or in any emergency. Also for DFACS. I need to make some more. There is also Project Linus. I would use what ever type of bowl matches your decor. Hobby Lobby has some really pretty ones. I want to get or paint one red to use at Christmas, Valentines and for Patriotics and then maybe one for Autumn themed. Really enjoyed this week video. Have a great week xo

Your blanket is beautiful! There must be a women’s shelter or cancer center that would love it! Try starting with your county’s assistance center for ideas of charities you might donate it to! Dough bowls you can get 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby if you keep your eyes peeled. That’s how I got mine. They had two sizes and the one that was labeled Spring Shop went 1/2 price and I got it. I love to decorate it. Once I learn to sew, I’ll add cross stitch pillow smalls! Good luck!

The first time I heard about a dough bowl from from Yvonne the Night Owl Stitcher. If I'm remembering correctly hers was an heirloom that was passed down. I've seen them at flee markets and craft shows. I think I spent $25 for a small one at a craft show... Your baby blanket is adorable!... I'm also on Goodreads. I love keeping track of my book series, etc. that I read. I think I'm just under my name. I listen to a lot of crime dramas on audiobook on my commutes to work.

Thank you so much for giving me permission (making it acceptable) to change the colors in "Year At Hark Run Hollow". I, like you, did not like the orange on the dress in block one. I accepted your decision to change and made a change myself. Since I had almost finished that block I did not want to go to the trouble to pic all of that out. After I had started this piece, I had tried out some tea dying and liked the new color that it made. Therefore I made the decision to start all over and I am back to square one but feel that I will be much happier with the red and orange.

A real dough bowl (what people used to use to raise their bread dough in) is found at antique stores or as you said they are expensive. But any long or oval wood bowl will work. Check hobby lobby, walmart, target, and keep an eye out at thrift stores.

Many churches have a prayer shawl ministry. Most of the time shawls are completed for adults who are ill, or in need of prayer; however, there are times that children receive a shawl. I would think that a blanket would work for small children. At least it’s worth looking into.

Dough bowls can be a little pricey I have seen some in antiques shops, also Etsy sells some.... i still want to find some for my home. I have a small Etsy shop and it can be a little frustrating with all the fees they have but I really didn’t want to do eBay or start a website of my own yet so for the items to list it’s 20 cents per item then when you sell it a small percentage goes to them also if you charge shipping it’s a small fee as well. So for now because I’m so small the few dollars they make off me I don’t mind just adjust your pricing a little :) love all your stitching so pretty...

I will never live long enough to do all my stitching, hah. Just today I decided not to buy any more for cross stitch except flosses. You see how well that went. I am sad I gave away all my antique sampler magazines when I wasn't cross stitching. NEVER give stuff away, I've done it with quilt things too. I think I've finally learned my lesson.
