Flounder and Plaice Fishing in West Sussex 

I met up with the Shore Hunter, aka Wayne Hand, for a session targeting flatties in West Sussex. Our plan had been to fish for plaice over two days, with this video focusing on day 2. However, the weather turned overnight and the sea chopped up. The contrast between this session and the previous day was stark: the conditions on the beach could not have been more different!
Still with plaice as our main target, we hit the beach hoping they would still be about in numbers whilst realising it might be a tough day. Observing that the sea had a band of coloured water in close, I adapted my plans to fish one rod exclusively for flounders. The tactics I used are covered in the video and both target species were landed.
I hope you like this one, as it shows just how important it is to match the fishing tactics to the target species, and the target species to the conditions on the day.
