Great review Joe. You put out some nice quality videos I appreciate that think I’m definitely gonna get this piece of equipment though looks perfect...
Hello Joe. I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos and explaining things properly I am new to pressure washing I have been cleaning windows professionally for 16 years so this is a whole new ball game for me in terms of equipment and whatnot. That looks like a very nice tool I do not have a soft wash system I have a 5 gallon a minute pressure washer that is a direct drive. I would look into this because I would like to use Downstream injecting to make use of my pressure washer my only fear is I did some research and a lot of people have been telling me the direct drive pumps do not work off of a buffer tank efficiently is there any truth to that I did not know that when I bought this unit unfortunately I hope I did not set myself up for problems. I am learning as I go this is a lot to take in compared to window cleaning but I'm sure 16 years ago I thought the same thing when I pulled up to a mansion and started cleaning the windows
Great info and explanation, Joe. Your kids are blessed as I’m sure you’ve taught them many life skills over the years. Can’t believe you weren’t a teacher in a former life. 😉
I trust this man's reviews. Plug. Hustlenation... homegrown passion.... kline farms.... paid to play K and R... all solid folks . Thanks Joe , you're in your own category. Great Mentor.
@@EdgeRoofCleaningCanada my only issue with the 8 is buffer tank capacity. I have our run clients water twice already this year with the 5.5 and my 100 gallon buffer
@@powerfulimprovements We have a 3 garden hose intake manifold on my truck to our 65 gallon buffer tank. 1 is the main water in with 150’ 3/4” garden hose on a reel. When we come across a house with only 1 tap and poor positive tap pressure, we simply rinse the house at half throttle on our washer. Most of the time we don’t have a problem when we connect to 2 taps on the customers property. I have check valves at each intake so there’s no need to open and close ball valves.
@@powerfulimprovements Hi Joe, The way you set up your flowpro bypass. How do you rinse off the chemical injector? I lost on that. Can you explain? Thanks, Michael C - (WA)
Great video Joe, I would like to see where the 2 hoses that come out of the box are ran to.. I’m assuming one hoses goes into your water tank and the other into your SH tank, but how do you draw out your surfactant..? I’m going to purchase a FloPro this week and also order a downstream by pass from Russ too. I’m a little confused though, did your actuator come with DS bypass kit from Russ? Because it looks like it also comes with the FloPro kit… And FloPro also sell two different ones kits, one says 12V / Air remote system… Thanks, Bryan
Thank Joe . I already buy my flowPro valve . I’m exciting and waiting to receive my one. I really appreciate if you can send me a link to buy that block. I did google but not showing anything like that one. Thanks for all.👍
I am in the process of starting a soft wash and pressure washing business in Canada and I am spreading the word on my plans. I have talked to builders to spread the word and been shot down twice for the thought of using a pressure washer on a house even at reduced flows, they both say the house exterior is not designed for the flow and pressure. Moisture, water, chemicals being forced where it does not belong can cause problems. I pushed the soft wash with 100lbs of pressure they heard me out but are reluctant. the down stream is not recommended by builders in my area
Thanks for the review Joe. Looks like a solid investment. I figure you still have to remove your injector and soak it in water to rinse it out after your day of washing.
You can always drop your pick up tube going from your mix to your injector in fresh water and rinse with the “mix” cycle on the FlowPro or install a 3-way turning it to mix or water. This way you don’t have to remove the injector.
What kind of knucklehead would give this informative video a thumbs down? True... I had to get Russ on the phone to order that part. Very friendly and helpful guy.
@@johnhanafin5411 No J, I just told him I wanted "the brass adapter that Joe Derry uses that attaches to the bypass." He knew exactly what I was talking about.
It's going to save me foot steps which makes me more efficient which will increase what I can do in a day. I should have done it a long time ago but was a window cleaner that also did pressure washing type mentality I had. I've nearly revamped my company now to Pressure washing and Soft washing that does exterior only windows. Thanks for your help.
Did you discontinue use and/or change your opinion of the flo pro solutions unit? We're looking for a remote system and would love to understand your long term opinion on this unit. Please and thank you!
Quick question about SH.. SH is used because of the mold/mildew etc right? Where i live, we dont have these moisture issues, its very dry, I don't really need to run SH right?..
@@powerfulimprovements Thanks for the reply, in my case im mostly just washing off dust bunnies/dirt I'd rather not deal with bleach if i dont need to, thanks again ✌
Hey question, I’ve been using my flow pro now for about a month and all of a sudden I was unable to draw soap. After researching a bunch of things I found the flow pro is not closing the DN10 100% it’s leaving it open about 10% making it impossible to draw soap with the M5 twist or any other nozzle. I emailed Judd West just waiting for a response. Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue, Thanks
I believe the remote down stream module only cuts the soap on and off. It does not bypass the injector so it does not get optimal flow like the flow pro does
I’m running the #2 currently. And getting 10:1. My understanding is that stepping down to the #1 will get a little hotter but I haven’t taken the time to test yet.
@@powerfulimprovements Is that a dumb question? Sorry thought you were trying to educate people. I'll unsubscribe and watch elsewhere though no need to respond.👍
@@xtremeleecleanpressurewash6407 sorry. We get slot of snarky comments. If you’re asking seriously I’d be happy to help explain. The way to rinse out the injector is to put the drop stick in water so you pull water instead of sh when in soap mode. Or pull the injector off at the end of the day and drop it in a bucket of water
@@xtremeleecleanpressurewash6407 yes you still have to rinse the injector at the end of day. The flow pro by passes the injector allowing unrestricted flow on rinse mode.
@@powerfulimprovements yea I’m sure that’s what it is. Took me a bit to figure out how your setup works, the banjo valve threw me off. Glad u did this vid helps me with my future build! Thanks and keep up the good content!
@@JudWest absolutely! I should add this comes from guys that have never actually used it. They were just skeptical of mechanical pieces. I’ll be getting one as soon as I can afford to!!!
