@@Duckling_Gaming I didn’t say you’re not allowed to express how you feel. I’m just trying to provide a solution to an issue you seem to have. You’re continually consuming a product that appears to upset you so why consume it.
Stupidest analogy to this damn day apples and or are both circular fruits there isn't anything wrong with comparing them especially if it's just your enjoyment of them like how dumb you gotta be "U CnT COmparE ThINgs If iT HuRtS mY FEEliNgs!"
You’re literally comparing someone’s life leading up to the release of their album to an essay on the human condition, more specifically as a member of the black community. It doesn’t make sense. It’s like if I asked you if you like pizza or the color green more. It just doesn’t make sense.
Yes he can, with the beautiful production and songwriting choices on flower boy, compared to some of the more main stream trap on DAMN imo. I think flower boy is actually way better
Love Flower Boy! One of my favourite Tyler projects. Still think i gotta listen to damn a bit more to truly understand it as a whole, but i think it’s kendrick’s weakest (but still a stellar project).
Listen to it in reverse maybe that’ll help ya understand it’s entirety and how each song is essential to the album as a whole. Imo it contains two of his best songs (fear & feel)
@@luismunoz5524 i never said it was weak, but that it was a Kendrick’s personal weakest (in comparison to his other works). At least in my personal opinion. I still think it’s great though. It’s like an 8 for me, goes to show that even his weakest he’s still miles ahead everyone else.
Track for track is such a terrible way to compare albums. Doesn’t account for the songs building on themes and the album actually saying something meaningful. DAMN is a much better album than Flowerboy. Love both though.
Personally, flower boy easily should've won the grammy that year. Kendrick should have two grammys, but he should've gotten his second one before 2017 Glad you did this instead of me, I would've made it flower boy 12, damn 2
it sucks that i like duckworth more than enjoy right now today because enjoy right now today is a criminally underrated track, one of the best on flower boy
1. Forward 1-0 2. DNA 1-1 3. Sometimes 2-1 4. See you again 3-1 5. Who dat boi 4-1 6. Loyalty 4-2 7. Pride 4-3 8. Boredom 5-3 9. Lust 5-4 10. 911 / mr lonely 6-4 11. Xxx 6-5 12. Fear 6-6 13. God 6-7 14. Duckworth 6-8 Damn came back in the last few
I FEEL Who dat boy is better just cos that beat goes so hard especially with the asap rocky feature and its up there with one of the best songs that tyler performs live
Flower boy and like other albums is a creation that builds off of the last song and it’s feelings to paint a narrative or what an artist was experiencing. so to compare songs as something that stands on its own when it was intended to be enjoyed from top to bottom is a really poor way to compare albums. Both are great albums. If you wanna compare albums talk about them as a whole instead of doing random 1 v 1 matchups where some songs are gonna lose as a result of it being taken out of context as a stand-alone piece. Comparing “sometimes” to “yah.” is a clear example why this is a poor ranking system. “Sometimes” is a great transition from “where this flower blooms” and then alley-oops it into a slam dunk way to start “see you again”. “Sometimes” is nothing significant without a before and after look of what it does for flower boy as an album. I am biased towards Tyler but the same be said with DAMN. “Yah.” is a great song in between two bangers “DNA” and then “Element”.
why do yall get so sensitive when comparing music - there is literally nothing wrong with doing a tracklist ranking and discussing which song is better
You can't just compare music based on the order of the tracks that's stupid. Also these are two very different albums and aren't even the same subgenre of the genre they fall into.
I tried to listen to Tyler’s flower boy but personally I just can’t seem to listen to it it’s not my kind of music but if you like him I have no problem with that it’s just his music is not for me
@@yaboimatteo7706 It has better songs and a better sound. Sure DAMN. has DNA, but Flower Boy has Boredom, See You Again and 911/Mr. Lonely. I don’t think DAMN. has those standout tracks like his other albums do.
@@DDub04 once again ehhhhhhh, but it seems to me like you mean those kinda chart tracks. Damn has incredible amounts of depth and layers, there's still stuff that I only just figured out and it's 5 years old. I do also like the sound although I love the sound of Flower boy as well but it's that depth and everything for me. The more you listen to Damn the better it gets. Trust
@@yaboimatteo7706 I haven’t had much time with either album. I still think DAMN. is great, and maybe I’ll listen to it more in the future. Besides, TPAB is my most listened to album so I can’t doubt his depth.
