Really enjoyed your process, how you think, the frustrations of XP compared w/ Houdini. I share similar views. Fast paced environments have hurt my desire to use Houdini my main workhorse. I still find myself in Cinema more often but always curious w/ Motion designers/ 3D Commercial artists working w/ Houdini. I love and hate houdini, mostly love
Beautiful and love this. I am new x-particle user , trying to drop a bottle in a water tank and create tendril looking splash but not getting any good results. Tried xpSplash and xpSheeter and that's look very fake. Any advise, thank you.
Great tut man. But does anymone know how to remove blurriness from XParticles smoke?. Blur is something i really hate in my image and it seems like XP smoke has too much blur in the smoke.
In order to make the past year videos about X particles do you need to have the newest version or is V2 still fine? Because I was curious if we can achieve the same quality of fluid SPH but just be limited on the new features?
interesting question, i found it difficult to navigate through old tutorials as mostly things are scraped, removed, changed, replaced, moved out to somewhere in some option deep...etc. This is only one reason i dont like this plugin and hate it with everything i know and have! I wanted to make many tutorials about xparticles but decided not to, i dont do Ads in my channel :)
@@BoutaibYassine Oh okay I understand! So from your experience of using it years ago, would you say this could work? I can only use V2, not V4 and I wanted to see if this could work since Greyscalegorilla has a new tutorial about beverages which includes X particles
@@HAJJ101 no this wont work u need the field option they added unfortunately. The water system of v2 is very very primitive (really really limited i remember) but not useless.
