Dear Insydium, why there isn't any kind of documentation on the new release? Why you pubblish a tutorial on a wall destructtion when there is isn't even a manual available. Maybe I'm just too demanding? A couple of file on content repository also could do the job
I love it Thanks Bob But my cache time is 4 days on a 5950x, for a collapsing house (but now, it looks dope 🦊) hope every day for the cache-tool update, my 3090 is bored😂. Have a good time Insydium team you‘re doing a great job. ✌🏾
Word! They keep releasing half baked features with slower performance. How does the dinosaur c4d engine bullet engine considerably faster then the one in XP? Pathetic
There's a reason he relied on the system velocity instead of animating manually. The collider system doesn't work. It's also hobo slow. The regular C4D dynamics are 10 times faster. What a waste.
This is great! Love that these new feature tutorials are getting posted up super quick. But - would've loved to have seen this setup with a bit of an outline tutorial around the new xpBulletConstraints.
How do you cache/retime xpBullet objects? When I try to cache and retime, only the particle movement is interpolated, while the xpBullet objects stutter.
how do you get the wall bits on the sides to not fall down and how to u get some of the parts to not break all the way through like at the beginning of the shot you did?
Just found how to make it work, my C4D crashed, but I applied the materials on the shattered objects and saved the project before, now it works, so just apply the materials, save and restart C4d lol
Been struggling to get any stability with XP Shatter, crashing and freezing when adding different sources, dynamics behaving inconsistently etc, Been trying alongside native Voronoi, and while not as many options, it kinda works, in production cant afford continuous messing around with crashes. Would love to be able to experiment and get consistent results without the bugginess
@@loganpatrick1469 nothing against insydium they’re reels look great. Always struggled with stability in end results and crashes. I moved to Houdini for sun stuff and while it’s a steep learning curve it’s fantastic.
This is what I'd like to know as well! Today I was trying to make a shattered bullet object spawn additional particles using xp questions. As far as I can tell, the only way to use questions is from an xpEmitter.
Unfortunately this example is no longer functioning on the R25 C4D. Cascading shatter on collision is freezing the interface. Plus xpDynamics (original) tag is now busted. So there's no way to do this tutorial anymore :(
Can you please make sure your new releases of indydium are backward compatible? I see lots of old tutorials making absolutely no output in the newer releases. Some of these are big matters or concerns. Thanks
My computer (2020 max specced iMac) freezes c4d every time i turn off the two collision trigger checkboxes above xpBullet and play the animation. (15:22) The second my collider hits the wall everything freezes and i have to force shut down cinema. C4D r24. I see others have reported similar crash/freeze issues.
Yep - just sent a ticket to Insydium with my scene file and a video. Hopefully this gets an answer. I'm on windows 64 core threadripper / 128gb ram stuffed full of GPU's so I know its not a performance thing - it has to be a software bug.
Having a few new issues with the latest version 1036, for some reason cycles 4d doesn't render the destruction of the shattered wall and still having problems with xpShatter itself, more than one layer of shatter crashes C4D and when i tried to change the number of points on the spline to freezes C4D again.
Hi Chris, Can you please report these bugs within the software so we can take a look. Thanks. Alternatively, you can contact Technical Support here: insydium.ltd/support-login/
how to drive the debris and all with wind? it's only affecting the spline and emitter but not the debris with colission. if we can't do that xp bullet is useless in every case possible ever
