Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Conor McGregor - Highlights 

Say what you want, but the fact that McGregor's speed and timing allowed him to regularly land shots on arguably the best boxer of all time is extremely impressive!

I cannot imagine the amount of internal restraint that was needed for Connor to not accidentally throw a kick or suplex or something. He threw some hammer punches but did pretty well holding back considering.

I'll never forget this fight, it was huge. People who were against fighting went out to watch this fight. I was running a pub in london during this, never seen anything like it since.

The conditioning is different. Can see floyd allow the fight to drag on the longer the better knowing mcgreger wouldn’t last 12 rounds.

Man Conor Is A Monster. Being Able To Do This To The Best Ever After Never Doing It Before Is Legendary.

After rewatching this I see that Mcgregor was poking a lot of holes in Floyd’s defense. The south paw jab and movement of Conor gave Floyd problems. That being said, Floyd slowly but surely figured his way out around him and with the gassing out of Mcgregor it made it that much easier. Great performance from both men

I admire Conor's timing, precision and counter skill. That is why boxing can be alternate universe for Conor. He doesn't need to worry about being subbed and leg fracture

Funny thing is it wasn't even a bad fight. Mayweather didn't just let him get those shots off, he was trying to figure him out- it just took him longer than usual because UFC translates weirdly into boxing and you can clearly see that. After Floyd got a ping on what arsenal McGregor was using, he just went to town on him.

Over the years a lot of people including myself have realized that despite Conor's recent downfall, he was the one who gave Khabib the most competitive fight out of Dustin and Justin and he's the only one that looked so good out of all the MMA fighters that went over to boxing. You can't deny that this man is truly a pioneer and ahead of his time. Rooting for him to make a huge comeback against Chandler. That fight is going to be bananas 🔥

With the passage of time you really have to give McGregor a lot of credit here. They were both going at it full tilt and McGregor did well!!

Watching it now. McGregor did something out of this world.

I remember watching this with a lot of my extended family because these two were fighting and my uncle hyped it up. Good times and good pizza.

Just before the fight, My Irish colleague told me McGregor will beat Mayweather. I said no way. He doesn't have the stamina of a boxer. And it proved to be true. Floyd was just draining McGregor strength on the start before unleashing his arsenal of punches.

Conor handled himself very well. First boxing match going 10 rounds with one of the greatest to do it.

Its actually so weird to see Mayweather fight like this lol, can tell he had a concrete plan and had an easy time with it.

That 9th n 10th round was brutal for Connor. I feel like Connor had no power in his punches and Floyd just waited for his stamina to fall and then kicked it on.

Money's stamina and game planning was exceptional. Conor has got real balls being MMA background he was not really afraid of being hit direct.

I came back to watch this, and in hindsight McGregor didn't go that badly actually.

This Mayweather was definitely waiting for Conor to get tired but also it was just a sparring match for him, the way he fights Mcgregor. If you look the way he fought Canelo or other boxers the speed, timing and defence were on another level because of the training and preparation and he also knows they are way better than Mcgregor in boxing.

Mcgregor did well. For his first boxing match and transitioning from another arena, the potential is undeniable. I think the calls were a bit off but great fight nonetheless. Respect to them both.

MacGregor really made the fight entertaining with his antics, even sneaking in some hammer fists. I didn't expect it to be a fun fight.

I'm still impressed with Conor he was great in showmanship and execution against the absolute best ever in boxing. Damn entertaining fight.

Conor just gets tired,but he did a great job for a ufc fighter to boxing,from 1st round to 8 i dont expect him to school floyd..ufc is really different from boxing,12 rounds is too long for conor but to floyd even 24rounds he can still fight because boxing is his game..for me thumbs up to conor for doing a great job fighting a pro boxer and best fighter like floyd..no one defeat floyd when it comes to boxing..

I know people say Mayweather was letting Conor let him the first 3-4 rounds but Conor actually looked suprisinglly good. He used his reach and was actually countering Mayweather, something we aren't used to seeing. But you can tell the patience and conditioning and experience of Mayweather was too much for him

Those have spent time watching mayweathers career know full well this is not how Floyd looks in a fight with an opponent he takes seriously. I think for the fight, he allowed it to seem somewhat competitive by walking him down without his signature slick style. And when enough time had passed he quite easily took him out.

Never seen this... Coner showed extreme discipline with not kicking, throwing, etc. Pretty incredible overall. After some hard blows most mma fighters would have probably kicked or something like MMA. Mayweather is a seasoned boxer and knows only boxing so, I am surprised Coner lasted the whole 12 rounds..

I always admire boxing, it's a sport can see class and art in boxing matches

Came here after Ngannou v Fury. Watching prime Mcgregor gas out makes Ngannou going the distance and getting a split decision and knockdown just that much more impressive.

bruh everyone saying this was competitive and that it took mayweather some effort are casuals of boxing and probably just mma fans talking out of emotion. Seeing this fight again i remain sure that most ppl saying it was a good fight just were UFC fans watching their first boxing match. Floyd was operating differently than he usually does. Was walking in Conor’s face ALL MATCH and was really only trying to dodge and not counter. Floyd fought closer to his regular style the last bit of the match and easily got the stoppage. That stoppage was there for Floyd all damn match. I think Floyd even let Connor win the 1st three rounds just to make it seem like it was back and forth but Floyd had taken no damage all match really aside from MAYBE a punch or 2. This was MASTERY of the sport. Floyd really ended this when he wanted AND even created a narrative for how the fight would go. Does ANYONE truly believe Connor wins those 3 rounds if Floyd is trying? Cmon

At the time even for a boxer like Floyd was difficult to face the skills of Mcgregor, i'm not a fan of Mc but he would be a very succesful boxer too, after this i admire the fighting qi of Maywether

Conor would actually won if his gas tank wasn't actually weak. His striking ability is sharp and good headmovement he got all the skills to be out there!

Mayweather literally fought like this so it wasn't a complete embarassment...he's never fought this carefree...knew he was in no danger...barely any shoulder roll..walked forward and through shots...even with his reflexes semi shot he knew he was gonna walk this. Still that counter uppercut MacGregor lands in the first is absolutely beautiful
