People don't understand that this fight was so boring because Mayweather was just running the whole fight. They credit Mayweather for being so masterful for ducking and dodging but don't credit Pacquiao for barely taking any hits either. Pacquiao's face was the cleanest freshest he's ever had outside of the Hatton fight. Literally not a scratch on Pacquiao either. It's hard to fight when your dance partner doesn't want to engage.

When Mayweather gaze his punches on Pacquiao, it was not count as a land, but if Pacquiao did it was counted as landed. There's also some missed punches by Pacquiao that was counted and was edited carefully. Second and the most important thing, it really does not matter who landed the most. Boxing is not scored by who landed the most punches simply because it's impossible for anyone to see which punches landed or which is not. Even this stupid so-called fans like Astoria boxing took hours to review and count the punches. A round/fight is scored by four criteria. Ring generalship, clean punches, effective aggression and defense. Mayweather is negating Pacquiao's offense and forcing him to fight his kind of fight. Pacquiao can't used his footwork and angles against Mayweather because Mayweather's is preventing him by moving around the ring and forcing him to fight in a straight line. That's ring generalship. And obviously Mayweather's landed the most cleaner and eye-catching blows. And also, despite it's name, effective aggression does not necessarily mean you have to be a aggressive. Being aggressive without effectiveness is not counted. Like Pacquiao do most of the time. Mayweather despite always moving is more effective in his punches and strategy. That's also why he got the effective aggression. And about defense, do I have to explain that? Activity is a key in winning a round. You may not landing much but if the judges saw you're activity and was impressed they will more or less give you a round. That's why Pacquiao usually won a round in most of his fights. He always throws even if most of them don't land. But with Mayweather, he can't do it simply because Mayweather won't allow him.

The commentators were biased from the start. They complained that Pacquiao is not the same. They asked where is his passion? He should be pressuring Maywaether and should be throwing 5 to 6 combinations at a time. While on the other hand, they admire everytime Mayweather evades punches and runs, and they call that defensive wizardy. When Mayweather plays dirty grabs, holds and throws elbows and lowblows, they call it high IQ boxing style of diffusing an offense. Thats the reason why Pacquiao cant do what they were asking from him. And they talk about boxing purity.. Why dont they ask the other way around. Why dont they pressure Mayweather to connect atleast 3 clean punches every round? The only thing Maywaether go to do to win a fight is not to get knocked out.
