Floyd Ririe was an early pioneer of Utah aviation. After taking flying lessons, he became a barnstormer. He even got to know Amelia Earhart! Ririe served in various capacities in WWII before becoming the first pilot hired by Frontier Airlines. He retired at 60, the mandatory retirement age at the time, and became the first Frontier pilot to retire.
