I watched these videos many years back and mostly thought it was a cute friendship-/lovestory. Now I appreciate how great visual storytelling it is in these shorts. I am partically impressed by the use of the empty heart shaped picture frames to express the 'pink fluffy' girl's wish for a relationship, which causes the 'dark gothic' girl to respond with compassion.
