Just can't seem to get my schedule right to get out to the tuna grounds.
But today I had a grind of a fluke day turn into one hour of fun! We filled our limit in just one hour after several hours of exploring for not much reward.
Join Alana and I as we invite you into our home for another catch n cook. Ask and ye shall receive!!!! Flounder Francaise!! My first attempt...but it was delicious.

Nice going you stuck with it and it paid off. The francaise recipe is a great way to cook Fluke. The lemon butter wine sauce gives it a fresh unique flavor. Its hard to get the balance of wine and lemon but when you get it right its delicious.

As always great video! I bet you wish minn Kota made a trolling motor for the 42 ocean.....spot lock for blackfishing would be tight!..you'd only need like 50 batteries or so.

Another great video brother!!! Haha. I fished fairly close to where you were the other day and I swear that spot is cursed!! Haha. The gas line fitting broke on my motor, half of one of my reels just fell off and went to the bottom, lines getting tangled, I'm pretty sure everyone around there knew I was having a bad day. Lmao!!! I did one nice fish though so it made up for it.

Hey Chris, the secret for keeping those gnats and noseeums off you is actually using spray sunblock. Were we are in CT the noseeums are pretty much everywhere you go and brutal. We used to use bug spray but never really seemed to work that well on them, if you use the spray bottle sunscreen it works like a charm. Hope it helps. Tight lines🤙

Great video brother! I look forward to these every time. I haven't been out in a couple of weeks but starting Saturday I'm heading to Nantucket and cape cod for a week. See if I can get some jumbos and maybe a few bass. Keep up the great work!!!

Great job. I struck out last weekend, back bays. How about a nice crab stuffed flounder. Maybe something with kingfish, my girlfriend won't eat them.

Great vid! How high are you running the dropper above ur weight? Also what size/kind hook are you using and do you lip hook the minnows?

Thanks so much Joey. Dropper is 12-18" up from the weight. Gamakatsu Octopus Hook 4/0. Lip hook minnows.

Have you tried some cool touch summer gaterneck or does that bother you more than the gnat? Hardcore fisherman.. I’d go nuts with gnats. They are not a joke. Great video!

We’re going out this Thursday with some friends outta Cape May probably hit the reef and couple other recks. Definitely gotta try that receipt you cooked up it looked delicious! Tight lines and catch’em up stay safe my friend!
