Actual Ruling on this: So was able to look it up much later. It's a single attack but it's multiple instances of the attack. You would read each sentence separately. So the first two damage would hit Mister Sinister and then flip him. Then you read the following sentences.

One of the best heroes for Honed Technique. She can consistently get it online and be able to pay with a mental resource.

With situations like this in Arkham Horror, the rules seem to favour playing in the way that’s least good for the player. Marvel Champions is my respite from that kind of punishment so I tend to favour handling anything that has any kind of vagueness in the the way that best suits the player but still trying to be as fair as possible. The actual ruling for Flurry of Blades is how I play it, but I’m not convinced with Thanos and his helmet… 😊

The whole reason she come out with Float like Butterfly is because of it’s multiple instances. It can become 3 for 9 on a confused or 3 for 5 + confuse

This is one of the reasons why I love Psylocke because Flurry of Blades is so much stronger than it looks at first glance. It works the same way as Black Widow's Dance of Death except with added benefit that you only take retaliate once. You can even target multiple enemies with retaliate and I think you'd only take the first instance of retaliate because it's a single attack instead of multiple attacks like Dance of Death.

Retaliate would still trigger from every attacked (and undefeated) enemy.

@@TAC3O I'm of the mindset that they wouldn't. The Psi-Katana part of her card is worded almost identical to Sky-Destroyer which also doesn't trigger retaliate. I think Flurry of Blades is a single attack and only the first 2 damage sentence of the card is the attack part of the card.

@@Bumbum_Inspector They would retaliate, you have even an official answer from FFG in this video (5:31) on this. Sky-Destroyer doesn't trigger retaliate because it is not an attack.

Yeah it’s in the rules. I can find it. And this is my issue with this card if I attack one enemy with retaliate I get hit once. But if I use this card to hit 3 enemies with retaliate I get retaliated 3 times.

They really need a better way to do the rules for this game because this is another rule that makes zero sense. It's not 3 separate attacks like Dance of Death and therefore should not trigger multiple retaliates like Dance of Death does...
