Well vise versa for me since he doesn't need to share anything to anyone and get away with anything... That's what i would say if all the things I wanna do for myself i haven't been done
Matthew Steiner and it’s still my favorite in the Dreamworks and Aardman’s three film collection (my second favorite is chicken run in that collection)
Dreamworks DVDs I see in order left to right Shrek Shrek 2 Over the Hedge Shark Tale ? Antz Madagascar Wallace and Gromit Prince of Egypt El Dorado ? And at the far right end is Sinbad
This movie made me think about how alone we all are. (I was 5 at the time) I realized how alone I was and thought as I grew up that would change. I thought about it at night for weeks and weeks. Even then I remember hiding what I was thinking about from my parents. I thought that I was the only person in the world that was alone and that people would think I was crazy for even expressing something like that.
It was actually a deliberate nod to Jackman playing wolverine. he also decides against a hawaiian shirt that he wore in a famous appearance and Wallace's sweater vest, from Wallace and Gromit (also produced y Aardman animation)
Static/ShockWave Hugh Jackman is #1 and I admire him. He likes what he does and he does plus he’s good at it. Kate Winslet is the same. She likes what she does, she does it, and she’s good at it.
So I was just chilling in a discord VC when someone played this song... I dont know why but it sounded so good, so familiar, it sent me back to the past! than I remember omg flushed away! The nostalgia hit me so damn hard! i remembered watching the movie when I was 7... damn I miss my childhood! imo kids born between 1992-2007 had the best childhood
Fun Fact: When Roddy picks a movie to watch, you can see other DreamWorks movies on the shelf, which includes: Spirit: Stallion of the Cinnamon, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, The Road to El Dorado, The Prince of Egypt, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Madagascar, Antz, Shark Tale, Over the Hedge, Shrek & Shrek but when he moves even further, you can see Chicken Run!
The only thing that drew my interest to this movie besides the funny opening and the AMAZINGLY fitting choice of song, was the cast I saw as I watched this sequence; Wolverine? Rose from Titanic? Gollum? Gandalf? Davy Jones?!?!? I'm sold
I remember watching this scene with my family and crying and everyone around me just asked me what’s wrong I’m 21 now and when I remember this it’s like time traveling back to that time but now understand what I was feeling it and why🤍 Hope you’re all good
He's the only creature alive in the scene so the song couldn't be more fitting. God, why can't animated movies use iconic songs like this anymore? Finding Dory used What A Wonderful World which is iconic for sure but it's one of the most overused songs in movies
1:13 they have Dvds of "Shrek 1 and 2", "Over the hedge", "Shark tale", "Antz" "Madagascar", "Chicken run", “Prince of Egypt”, “The Road to el dorado” and “Simbad: Legend of the seven seas”
You know what's ironic? Wolverine has been owned by 20th Century Fox since 2000, yet, in 2013, all of Dreamworks' movie rights were under 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios as part of their 4-year contract after their distribution rights with Paramount and Nickelodeon Movies expired in late 2012.
