keeping the salt water out of your engine is very important for the lifespan of your engine.
By flushing it every day you use it, you expand the lifespan of your engine a lot.
I like to flush it when the engine is still warm so my thermostatic valves are still open and not trapping salt water in the cylinder top cooling circuit. If you let the engine cool down first, they are closed and you are not cleaning an important part of the cooling circuit.
