Does native notify really need the intl version at 0.17.0? I'm not able to use it in my app because of this, since my project uses version 0.18.0. And I can't change "Because every version of native_notify depends on awesome_notifications ^0.6.21 which depends on intl ^0.17.0, every version of native_notify requires intl ^0.17.0. So, because desenrola_brasil depends on both intl 0.18.1 and native_notify any, version solving failed." this is the message that appears in my android studio when I try to add native notify

Sorry, everyone talks about how to make a push notification. With firebase or other platforms. Is it not possible to do a "listen" from an API created in the backend , for example with Node or Python ? because I can't find it anywhere

Yes there is. On the sending page at the bottom of the screen, it shows how the API works.

This looks great and so easy to integrate. I have a question... I have an app idea where a household (like prob 3-5 people) would have my app. One person could send a notification to the whole family. So if there are 5 members in the family and all 5 get the notification, that would be 5 of the 10 free "subscribers", right? So if there are, say, 1000 families with 5 people in each (avg), that could be 5,000 subscribers? Is this what you mean by subscribers in the pricing page of the site?

Yes, that's how it works. Each individual device receiving push notifications is considered a subscriber. You can send an unlimited amount of notifications with the plan

Yes you can using our Indie Push Notification system. I just made a video about it. The Indie Push system let's you send notifications to individuals based on a user id that you give us. So you could dynamically/programmatically send notifications back and forth between users

Great and its work for me..., but... when a put the code on main it says "expected 2 and found 4" and both null are on error, so Will it cause a problem when it's in production?

Hi Alex. Are you using version 0.0.15 of the native_notify package? You should upgrade to that package number if not. The earlier versions of the package only took 2 parameters. Now the newest package takes 4 parameters

Hi. Right now Native Notify push notifications just works for iOS and Android devices. Try running "flutter clean" then "flutter run" in your terminal to see if your iOS pod file appears in your iOS directory

last thing i know, is ios simulator don't support push notifications(except manually), is this related to how the plugin working under the hood?

Hi Amr. Our push notifications work in an iOS simulator in the foreground and the background state of your app. It does NOT work on the iOS simulator in killed state. To get it working in killed state for iOS, you'll have to follow the Firebase integration guide in your Native Notify app and use a physical iOS device

Maybe try typing 'flutter clean' in your terminal and then typing 'flutter run' and then check if the podfile is there. It should be in the root of the ios folder

Hi Kimora. The instructions in this video get notifications working while the app is open or in the background. There's a couple more steps to get notifications working in killed state (when the app is closed). You can find the extra instruction in the documentation under "Android" and "iOS" setup. @@kimoradum4198 Hi kimora. I think Firebase is required for push notifications to work in killed state. At least with Native Notify, push notifications can work when the app is open or in the background without Firebase

Thanks for video I have question If i have ecommerce app And 100 user I only need send notifications to admin app when the user order Does that mean 100 subscribers Or only the admin app which recive the notification is the subscriber??

In this situation it would one be 1 subscriber. A subscriber is someone who receives a notification successfully

Hi Majid. We made some updates and push notifications won't work in an iOS simulator anymore. They will work on an iOS device. They will also work in an Android emulator or Android device

You have to follow the Android Setup guide and the iOS Setup guide for push notifications to work while the app is closed. It only takes another 5 minutes for Android and 10-15 minutes for iOS

I using firebase_core: ^2.1.0 Resolving dependencies... Because my_app depends on native_notify ^0.0.16 which depends on firebase_core ^1.13.0, firebase_core ^1.13.0 is required. So, because my_app depends on firebase_core ^2.1.0, version solving failed.

Maybe say 'flutter clean' in your terminal, then 'flutter run' again. Also rewatch the configuration part of the video to make sure you followed that part exactly. I hope that helps!

@@NativeNotify Hello, I have one suggestion to add is that…. You can allow to send push notificAtion to particular user or mobile only. And one more feature you can add is Push notification through api data changes. For instance: user will notify if there change in his order in api.
