Hello, welcome to my short series I have decided to make. I will be taking you through the various stages of myself setting up a new tank i have purchased. It is a FLUVAL SPEC 10 litre aquarium. Episode 5 contains the following steps: recap of tank, some short footage of the tanks occupants, some of the modifications and fixes I have implemented and finally an overview of the tanks pros and cons in my opinion. Hi " I have watched all 5 episodes on this fish tank and thank you so much for them. It helped me to get the same tank. It's the first time I will be having an aquarium and I have done a lot of research, but would really like it if you could do an episode 6 on how to clean the filter and fish tank probably for this tank please? Kindest regards Sharon

Hi, Thank you for watching and your comments. The filter is easy, it just pulls out, when you do a water change, keep the water you take out in a container and rinse off your packets of filter wool/charcoal and the filter media in that, you can rinse the sponge off in fresh water but keep the 2 packets away from chlorine. I also use a small sponge to clean the glass of any algae. I will try to do an episode on the future showing this. Thanks again

@@crazysithslave thanks. I was wanting to put in mates for the better. After doing research and also wanting fish I like. I'm really wanting Amber Tetras 5-6 of them. Thay say to keep them in a school. Do you think the tank is big enough for it ?

10ltr is way to small for a betta minimum is 20ltrs

I think the 10litre tank is the minimum size imo for a betta, I have now upgraded by betta tanks to 30 litres which is much better for them 👍, if you check out my PH tester pen review video you'll see the bigger tanks. Thanks for watching

@@crazysithslave 20ltrs is the minimum size in the uk I have my betta in a 22ltr with 2 amano shrimp
