This was my last college bass fishing tournament! Needless to say the stakes were high. We stayed at a teammates house all week and prefished for a whole week (shout out Bo). Check out my practice videos if you haven't already. Smith Mountain Lake is located in Virginia and it is one of the most beautiful fisheries I've ever fished on. That being said, we knew the fishing was going to be tough. Through this video you can watch Blake and I piece together a bag that might qualify us for the FLW National Championship.

Yall did a great job rebounding when your pattern failed. Sml is my home lake and its all about getting the right bites that make or break you there. I will say shakey heads will get you 5 but but not the right 5. You have to go for broke and fish big fish baits,then when you get 5 bites you win. You also do very well with your videos,very enjoyable to watch. Good luck young man.

Yeah the shakey head can be the deal to get 5 but I agree, you need to have quality bites to be able to do anything. It was tough knowing our morning bite didn’t workout, but we kept our heads down and kept grinding.
