Previously restricted to limited flights offered at pricey costs, passengers flying between Canada and Guyana now have an additional option with Fly Allways now operating the route.
While this is good news let’s hope it will result in lower fares for flights from Canada to Guyana. It’s widely known that CAL is gouging passengers flying from Canada to Guyana and even more so on direct flights. I’m guessing the load will dictate if a fuel stop is required and if one is required, it will equate to a stop in Trinidad before continuing onto Guyana. It still baffles me that Guyana has been constructing an airport for over 5 years now, extended the one serviceable runway, adding more parking spots etc and yet there’s no talk of starting it’s own airline. Let’s hope eventually they do.
From Toronto to Alberta. It's 150 one way, yet airlines make money here. That's probably 10 times the distance than the distance from Guyana to Toronto. Flights to Guyana is 1k cad. Maan thats overpriced.
