I have fished in the AMFC (Affiliation of Major Fly Fishing Clubs) for over 30 years. If you want to get into competition fly fishing then this is a great way to start. Join one of the major clubs and I am sure they would be more than happy to get you started in competition fishing with matches in the AMFC. Although there is an edge of competition it is generally fished in a freindly and relaxed manner.

Chews more like 1200 acres, it's a great fishery, but suffers from blooms and the wind with visibility between 1 and 3 feet quite regular. Come down south , wimbleball and kennick, no signal at all, ah lovely simply bliss😅
