★ • Fly Fishing for Trout ...
In this episode, I continue my June fly fishing sessions up in Connecticut's Litchfield Hills on the state's most popular tailwater trout fishery: the West Branch Farmington River. Brown trout, as well as nice rainbows and brook trout, thrive in the Farmington's unnaturally cool waters. And come June, there are seemingly limitless opportunities for nabbing these voracious trout on dry flies, even if nymphs remain an ever-present part of the equation.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled because I announce the winner of the 1,000 Subs Giveaway during the course of this episode! If you're the winner, please get in touch with me, either by email or on Instagram. I put the contact info right in the video.
You guys may remember that I was aiming to start releasing new videos on the 1st and 15th of each month. Well, so very much conspired against me finishing this video for the 1st, but I pushed through today and managed to get up on YT maybe 45 minutes before August 2nd! So... technically.... I released it on the 1st.😉
