Late last summer we made a rather late decision to have a go at river fly fishing, a style of fishing that neither of us are at all experienced in. This lack of experienced reflected a complete and utter lack of competence, and after several sessions we ended a rather half-hearted attempt with nothing to show for it but frustration and disappointment.
So naturally, we're back at it, only this time a good bit earlier in the year. That way, the dejection and suffering can last the whole summer.
We begin this year's fly fishing farce on the river, before returning to something a little more familiar. Maybe this year we'll get off to a flyer... Or maybe not!
