After a thoroughly expected disastrous part 1, we make it as easy as possible for ourselves to get a fly caught fish in the net, by visiting a small reservoir, high in the hills and stuffed to the gunnels with pristine, hard fighting Rainbow Trout. However, we're getting our excuses in early.
Although, technically a commercial fishery, these fish are renowned to be finicky, and with bright sunny conditions against us, the chance of success is looking as slim as ever.
We end this 2 parter back on the coast in search of a saving grace. Can we finally put an end to the toughest spell of fishing either of us can remember... Probably not!
