I noticed when your fly fishing you do not have trouble with bears on the Maddison. Is it possible catch 10 pound or 7 pound.? The fish you are catching are beautiful colour. Beautiful country.

You have to be cautious of bear encounters when in this area and I always had bear spray with me. There are fish that get to exceed 7 pounds in this river but a majority are closer to 16-"22" . Not sure of weight
