Yeah same thing to my understanding after talking to a number of other anglers there. Since both species of black bass compete with the native salmonids for food, space, and dissolved O2, as well as direct predation on juveniles, they want them reduced to help them out. They definitely are unfortunately established, but reducing them should at least help out the salmon and brook trout a little bit.

The largemouth they want gone, take them all. But the smallies have a 2 fish limit. A dispatch counts as a keep. Just don't want you to get in trouble.
