The Namekagon River runs southwesterly through Hayward, Wisconsin and is for sure one of the best of the best rivers. This old black water holds a number of big smallmouth just waiting for a streamer to be swung through their lair. With plenty of well marked entry points this might be one of the nicest experiences you will have in search of the once in a lifetime smallmouth.
