I was had the pleasure of testing this thing out over the last few weeks and it's like an ugly duckling situation, it just has it's own appeal in a way. I mean if you're a die hard Phoibos fan this definitely has it's placeand also if the design appeals to you, why not.

I like it. We can count on Phoibos to march to the beat of a different drummer when it comes to design. If I wasn’t a little strapped for cash at this time of year, I would buy this one without hesitation. Cheers.

Great review, by the way! You talked me into giving Phoibos a try. I have an 8 inch wrist so I gravitate towards larger watches. To me, the minute hand looks like a rocket so the hour hand could be the Moon. During an annular eclipse, it does cover the Sun just enough to make a burning ring of fire. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to future content.

That hour hand is “neo-breguet”. Loving the black/grey version, wearing it on a black/grey stitching sail cloth strap-really reduces the presence of this behemoth in a good way! Great review!

Crown at the 8 o'clock makes it look like a watch designed for left handed folk, definitely an odd looking watch the titanium model is much easier on the eye. Would like to see your opinion on the eagle ray auto if you get the opportunity 👍

@@MrCoalcracker79 I own a couple of phoibos watches & they are all unique styles. Phoibos doesn't do homage watches, there watches are very unique & stylish designs ! I love my new phoibos Apollo watch 2nd version, I bought the tan dial, the lume is fantastic ,15 layers of lume on the dial & bezel.

This is the best colourway that they make this model in....and I still find it hideous! Its obviously not aimed at me, good review nonetheless.

Why would you even review a watch that is clearly designed for guys who like big, chunky watches when you readily admit that you have stick arms?

Dude, they _gave him a free watch._ The only way you could lose a deal like that would be if Trojan asked someone to video review their new XXL Gorilla Girth condoms when the poor chap ain't equipped for it. I don't know about you, but ain't nobody giving me free watches-- much less one in stainless with a sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, awesome lume, and a decent automatic movement!

@@WatcheswithGeorge I have the black & gray coming and I also have their Reef Master in orange. I'm partial to Seikos with the day & date, but this design is unlike anything else I have. Hard to say no!
