Absolutely amazing. I have noticed that you use the clear elastic stretch on a few of your flies ,may I ask where you get it from as I looked at most of the major retailers who supply fly tying material but I cannot find it or would elastic floss olive colour be ok as a sustitute.
I'm glad I picked this one, nice work, I learned a few tricks too. #1 trick was how you cleaned the eye of the hook. I have watched countless videos and never seen that.
Dear Sir, enjoy watching you tie this and all the other flys. My equipment is at home, and watching this makes me wish I had my equipment with me. Do have a question for you. What is the saw blade looking material that you used for the thorax? By the way subscribed and can't wait to get home to try some of the patterns you have shown, thanks Charlie
Thank you Charlie, I am glad you like my Tying & Thank you for Subscribing my friend, As for Thorax I have used ( Goose Tail ) Feathers Regards ,,,, Mak :))
Nice fly Mak! Small tip for you for small flies.... do not snip your scissors at end of whip finish..... just open the scissors, and keeping tension on the thread, just push the scissors thru the thread. This will keep you from accidentally snipping something at the very end of a tie. Nothing more frustrating than accidentally snipping a leg or hackle fibers at the very end while being in a rush!
