The Mallard Flank used to make matched wings for various flies is different from the bags of Mallard Flank you purchase at the fly shop. This video talks about some of the differences of the Bronze Mallard Flank as well as the Gray Mallard Flank and the "Mallard Flank" bags you buy at the fly shop. I also share my process for sorting the Mallard flank so when it is needed it is already sorted and prepped for use. - Enjoy
