Thanks, it can be difficult early season but you will find the trout move into the faster water around mid day when it warms up a little. I don’t normally hit the river until 10.30am then take my time setting up ect. I do tie them up in a brown bead and sometimes a silver. But just experiment with different ones. Black beads have always been a favourite of mine in most waters but if it’s clear then a white bead will outperform any other colour 😉👍🏻
