Cheech , you're the best man. Always keeping it real. I must have broken my thread at least once for every 5 caddis I tie. I've gotten to the point where, I go easy on the tension and then put a touch of head cement on those threads at the end just like you did.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge! Now, I had heard that word at least ten times a day from my old man. He worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium; a master. Curtis, don't give him soap poisoning. 😉🤣🤣

I love soft hackles. I'd fish it without the elk hair but I'll give it a try and let you know which fishes better for me.

Great pattern ! I think i will tie some with partridge hackle and hares ear body with gold rib tinsel. Let´s see if it´ll become real fish catcher......
