The Dark Neon Euro Nymph from Signature Tyer Luboš Roza is an excellent fly that he fishes year round. He says, though, that it performs at its very best in the summer. The reason for this is that all of the materials are flashy, which Luboš finds is a great trigger for fish in the summer months. As he says, the fish don’t have hands, they only have a mouth. Because of this, if they want to try it, they have to bite it. This results in many hooked fish because they're so drawn to the flash. In his opinion, that's why attractor nymph patterns work so well! The other key to this fly pattern is the CDC collar, which is important for movement in the summer months.
